We Owe Watch Dogs An Apology

Watch Dogs is a video game that has been criticized since day one due to the overall downgrade from the 2012 demo but it's starting to be more appreciated as time goes on, especially the main character Aiden Pearce, I wouldn't say it's the most perfect game but it definitely deserves way more credit than it gets, I believe we owe watch dogs an apology.

5:41 FYI, Colin Graham, the animation director of WD 1&2 is now working on GTA 6 as Assistant Animation Director (Gameplay). He's the man who led the team behind the impressive coat animations and animations in general.

Loved Watch_Dogs since release. Been my favorite in the series, wish they'd bring back the crime and reputation system. It was cool to see the world doing things in the background, even if it wasn't a whole lot. Plus Aiden is pretty cool.

23:05 they actually do work, it’s just for some reason, the steam version doesn’t get access to the keys that allow you to go online. There’s ways of fixing this, but you either have to temporarily buy wd 1 again on the Ubisoft store and refund it as soon as you get online working, or contact support for 3 months and maybe get the keys.

2:35 Those cards used to be able to be scanned in a Ubisoft app to show you 3d models of each character listed on the card

I remember that reveal trailer and it's sad that the release didn't come close to it, but I never hated watch dogs and It's not a masterpiece, but enjoyable.

I remember watch dogs from the og e3 presentation back then. I skipped over it at launch because of how jank the PC port. Then I heard about the "e3" settings in the text file which also disrespected the PC playerbase. I ended up getting a complete edition off a CD key site and playing through it years later. Did the same for 2 and legion more recently. Haven't played through 2 and legion yet but I did enjoy the first one. Aiden's design is still one of the best protagonist designs for me personally. It still holds up overall if you can get it for cheap.

Making a video in a room with a mask on, I think I've seen stuff like that before, hehe

Never really played watchdogs but it always interested me the moment I've seen it in advertisements, who knows, maybe I should really give it a go one day!
