4:51 I always took “RAIN” to be about depression, it’s raining, you’re sad, you talk to people and you do everything you’re supposed to do, but you’re still sad, hence the “it’s not fair”

Can’t believe Opal is nearing 10 years old

the line “nothing is just nothing” always came off to me as “nothing is ever ONLY nothing, there’s always something more to it.” maybe thats just me being optimistic, but it felt a little like a message of hope. maybe there is no happy end, we will all pass on, but we can make the most of it. there is happy later, happy now, and happy then! nothing is ever just nothing!

Idk if you said this but in baby hoteline jack says at the end “some day I will go back outside and see your okay” and that makes me feel like hes try to comfort himself in a way by telling himself that the person he’s talking about is okay.

Jack Stauber is the king of unsettling. Not inherently terrifying, or mundane. Just that perfect in between every time. Unsettling.

Honestly, as a guy with facial blindness, 'library' means a lot to me. That's exactly how I felt before I knew there was a term for my disorder, I felt like I had committed some sort of fault or I simply didn't care enough' to remember the faces of my loved ones. I felt like the worst person on earth.

help and Opal hit so hard for me that I cry over them, yet they’re also oddly comforting. I will save the rest of this video for a day I am in a better mental state.

Also, I love your analyses and coverings, I found you via your video on Divine Swamp Fever and subscribed :)

6:31 actually made me realize I don’t remember what my dad sounded like. I mean the only reason I remember his face is because my mom has pictures of him. Makes me curious to know what he sounds like tbh
