American here. Have been a fan since day one. I am so happy that the English folk got their band back. Sincerely.

The shows in Toronto might have been the greatest assembly of British expats since the American Civil War.

The brothers walked out holding hands and hugged at the end of the Sydney concert, seems like they're on better terms than ever.

Got to attend the Chicago Oasis show a few days ago on my birthday with my best friend and his two oldest sons. It was really special. I didn't get to see them live in their heyday when we were growing up. It almost felt spiritual in a way and the fact I got to take it in with friends who appreciate the band is remarkable. It made all 60,000 of us who were lucky enough to attend so happy. I hope they keep going and make another album. The world needs Oasis.

The best thing Oasis did for their legacy was to break up in 2009, the years away have change the perception of the band and new generations had the opportunity to discover the band as something in the past.

And an important piece of this reunion working is that Bonehead is involved

Been to Wembley and 2nd night at Cardiff, the thing that struck me was the age range of the crowd, and also the vibe, the age range from 10 up to 65, and so many families, and also the incredible togetherness and happy smiles on show, never experienced anything like it before, grown men and women crying in th crowd, this band just hit differently, and it;s because we have a connection from the way they have bookmarked our lives, it;s been very special.

People are uplifted by the two brothers coming together and healing their rift - in a broken world! 👊🇬🇧👊

I flew from Texas to Dublin to see Oasis. That show was super wicked. It had big game match energy and but it was two hours worth instead of a short burst of energy when your team scores.

I don't remember anyone crying at their gig first time around. But this time. Wow I looked round me in Dublin. And tears were flying including mine. We definitely needed this.

American here who grew up in the 90’s and Oasis being one of my favorites, in 2019 being in Australia to see 6 U2 shows in the Joshua Tree tour , Noell Gallaghers band High Flying Birds opened for U2, and watching the opening I kept wishing that Oasis would get back together.. COVID came a month later and now 5 years later my wish came true and just got back from LA from the Rose Bowl night 1 show Sept 6. The energy and intensity was beyond anything ive been to in a long time!

Saw them at Wembley, don't know how it's possible but they sound better than they ever did in the 90s. Electrifying¬

I saw them twice in the mid-90s in Philly. They weren't as popular here as they were in the UK. But I loved them and had a few friends who were equally obsessed. I saw them again on 9/1/25. It was a truly amazing experience. I hope and pray they tour again in '27 and include the Philly/NYC area again. There have been rumors but nothing confirmed yet.

Wembley 27/09/25, the best concert I have been to. Love Oasis ❤

The lack of media is fantastic

In regards to the title in the thumbnail; they reunited because their music still resonates deeply with people all over the world, and they finally matured enough to realize that, and come to grips with that legacy...HA!! Who are we kidding?? It was $$$$$! That's fair enough. They've never pretended to be above that.

Regarding the comments about 'standing on the shoulders of giants'. It's well documented that it is a metaphor ... an individual's achievements or understanding are possible due to the contributions of those who came before them, allowing for greater progress. The phrase is most famously attributed to Isaac Newton "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants". I'm fairly sure (from memory) this was discussed by the band during press interviews at time of album release.

I just saw them at the Saturday show at Croke Park Dublin and they were brilliant! The crowd was completely into the show, and it was an insanely strong musical night for the entire band. Seeing them in Europe was an amazing experience!

If Noel can write songs that continue to inspire a generation who read and hear them, I can't imagine how he didn't foresee Liam's heart melting when they got to Acquiesce ❤😎

Be here now is GREAT! -from an American

I hope Noel doesn't try to make another Oasis album. It might be heresy, but this happy ending happening at all feels like life's gift to both of them for asking the question, "What's the Story Morning Glory"
