I miss these old Cinemaassacre rando videos. It just feels like we're hanging out with the guys.

The old quality, the dim lighting, the amateur filming. There's a lot of charm in these old vids.

He's the happy 16mm nerd

Sometimes I envy James' house. He has a game room with thousands of games, and a video store in his house with thousands of movies.

Talk about "gonna bring you back to the past"

Fun fact, the flickering on the screen is where we get the term "flick" from when referring to movies

The thing about these clunkier formats is that it makes the watching of a movie or listening to a record more of an event, you are less likely to be distracted when you put some effort into it as well.

I wish James didnt upgrade any of his gear, and still filmed videos exactly like this + this resolution.

Hes gonna take us back to the past...

The funny thing is this video was recorded in 2009... I was a freshman in high school and can still recall Cartoon Network showing classic Looney Tunes cartoons for an hour or two in the morning during the summer.

These cartoons are timeless 100%. I am a 90's kid and we had boomerang on tv I caught alot of these cartoons growing up.

I love the pride with which James shows off his 16mm films. He has the vibe of a boy showing off his new toys to his friends. It's adorable.

They def had a few beers before recording this lol

"Its a Reel Deal" 😂

mike’s need to not emulate and play on original hardware extends to media as well

I don't care what anyone says, this is what Saturday morning is all about. It's so sad that there is no network that does this anymore. At least there are other mediums to watch these classics on rather than cable.

I remember seeing this in small parts on the cinemassacre site

I missed the video so much.  This is why I love James and Mike Mondays.  Even when you guys go through your collections or even a DVD menu lol.  It feels like You're hanging out with your mates and just chillin.   I feel like I can grab a beer and just relax with you guys.  Such a good friendship and such genuine people.  Never change.

2026 anyone?
I love this content and how the old videos would just abruptly end 😂

“Most people watch movies on DVD”
Jesus, 11 years later and I still do, cuz screw Netflix

why the fuck does 2009 look so old and wonderful
time is PASSING
