you missed attempted murder in the charges. That would have also been a charge.

Hanging someone over a 43 story building with two broken arms and he with a knife to cut her ropes ? The charge should have been attempted murder, not assault! This story is full of holes, like most of the AI authors and stories they attempt!

Attempted murder should have been the 1st charge...

Smart little girl I wish I knew Morse code

Good story. What a horrible man your husband was. He should have been charged with attempted unliving.

Beautiful storytelling. Every scene had meaning

Very good story. A thought I had though was how sad that similar things happen to people who have no outside support.

I love these get even stories......great escape story

Really enjoyed the story💐

Very interesting story, with a different twist . I liked it🎉

AI needs a programmer who knows how names are pronounced.  The "G" in Reg sounds like a "J".   What Bryce and Rochelle did to Lily should have resulted in a 50 year prison sentence for Kidnap and child endangerment.   Assault (Grievous Bodily Harm - GBH) and attempted murder.

Hopefully, the prison sentence would be severe.

It is nice that this was set in the Greater Toronto area but most listeners would not know that Toronto is in Ontario Canada or what the GTA stands for.
The uncle’s name is Reg which is a short version of the name Reginald with a soft g not a hard g.
If the Op’s arms were broken she would have passed out from pain if she was hung by the wrists.
Just because a child is on the “spectrum” doesn’t mean they are stupid. Some children on the “spectrum” are actually in the genius level.
Caledon is near the town of Bolton, Ontario outside of Toronto.
The Op would have been given spousal support if she had no source of income or a smaller income than the husband.

Your daughter Lily was brilliant getting hold of her Uncle Reg. Be happy now.

How could Lilly tap Morse code in front of a camera when her hands are tied behind her back?

Yeah, there is a whole lot of things in this story that doesn't make sense. I really wish people using AI to write a story, at least takes the time to read what they post.. This is just lazy AI slop..

I thought the daughter was non-verbal. Did I miss something?

I thought that Lily was nonverbal 🤔🤔 When did she become language capable 🤔  Otherwise, this was a great story.

A terrible corrupt husband. A wonderful loving uncle. A brilliant daughter and a loving Mother. Uncle Reg, Lily and Mama are a happy family now. North Carolina. 😢😢😢😢😢😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Author, the FL can feel satisfaction that an evil person is going to prison for his crimes when she hears his prison time. Or she could be glad, relieved, vindicated, etc.

What happened to the attempted murder charge, hanging someone over the penthouse is attempted murder, not assault. His intent was to kill her not harm her. And the prosecuting attorney would know that the cameras would reveal what Bryce said on the rooftop.

👎 For no murder charge. Dumb mistake
