Regarding the diet, its remembering that God knows what our bodies need at all times, for He is Our creator and then the Trust in the Lord is not present, its something that I pray about because I don't eat as much meat but He has been helping me let it go!

Hebrews 10:26 is understood as a warning against TOTAL APOSTASY (the final, DELIBERATE rejection of Christ), rather than a loss of salvation over individual, confessed sins.

It refers to a PERSISTENT, FINAL REJECTION of the Holy Spirit's leading and an INTENTIONAL turning away from the ransom of Jesus, rather than stumbling through human weaknes

Adventists emphasize that as long as a person's heart is tender to the Holy Spirit's conviction, confession and cleansing are AVAILABLE (1 John 1:9), meaning this verse applies to those who SEAR THEIR CONSCIENCES PAST THE POINT OF WANTING TO REPENT.

And EGW in all of her counsels always addressed individuals within the s.d.a church, I've never read in her writings where she condemned people of other faiths for their diet, She only advocated individuals join the temperance movement in order to be a light to them not to condemn them but to lead them to the truth because this is what God had directed her so it would really be a stretch to say Ellen would condemn them as Rochelle pointed out.

Here is why the Law of God was NOT nailed to the cross:

a)When you read the book of Jeremiah the Ark of the Covenent was hidden by his prophets before King Nebacadnuzzer of Babylon came in and took Israelites into captivity. Ironically the apostasy of the people at that time was based on
1. disobeying the 10 commandments
2. not keeping the sabbath holy

Jeremiah preached 40 years a warning of prophecy from God that if they did not repent they would go into captivity.
His prophets hid the Ark of the Covenant(AOC) and it remains hidden to this day. Inside is the Law of God or 10 Commandments

b) When the Israelite people left captivity they went to rebuild the Temple because the temple King Solomon built was destroyed by the Babalonians during the time of Jeremiah. The AOC was NOT found but a promise was given to them that "a greater glory would fill this temple prophesied in Haggai 2:1-9. That would be the first coming of Jesus to literally be there with them preaching and teaching the law and the testimony by the prophets concerning himself. He was the literal "glory(light)" represented between the angels of the AOC now present among his people.

c) At the cross when He died the AOC was not present in the temple behind the veil when it was torn exposing the Most Holy place. It was still missing. Also the shekina glory was Jesus himself. If the AOC was there then the people would be confused. By faith they had to accept Jesus as that "greater glory". So Jesus meant what He said "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."Matt 5:18

The Law of God is literally hidden and still exists today where the prophets hid it. So it was NOT in the temple to be destroyed when Jesus died on the cross. It was not nailed to the cross symbolically or literally. The reason is because Jesus still had one more phase of His ministry to complete after He was resurrected which was in the Most Holy place and would involve the AOC.

d) In Hebrews we read about this 2nd phase of Jesus ministry as the High Priest standing before the real AOC in heaven the one Moses was shone in vision to make a copy of. And the purpose of Jesus being there is because He is finishing the work of judgement for the final church Laodecia (Day of Atonement) in Revelations BEFORE he comes the 2nd time. This is why the AOC is still in the Most Holy place in heaven where Jesus is present and why He allowed the other one that Moses made is still hidden because it was only the copy. Jesus meant it when He said "I have not come to destroy the Law but to fulfill it." Matthew 5:17.This is where all is being fulfilled regarding the Law of God because judgement is going on in heaven now. He is still using the Law of God in this process as the standard of obedience to God which is why the sabbath day is still binding to this day because the law was never destroyed not even the AOC that Moses copied. It was as if Jesus knew that the people in the future would repeat the apostasy that happened in the time of Jeremiah. He has preserved the Law of God literally.

If you read the Bible much of what Jesus said concerning Himself when He taught lessons symbolized using the Ark of the Covenant. He spoke a lot about the Law, Light(Glory) even manna which was in the AOC. Could it be because the people needed to see that He was fulfilling the Law and if He was obeying all of it they should do the same?

(Counsel on Diets and Foods) (Ministry on Health and Healing) . And Several more, And the rest of her Books you can read online for free. At the beginning of my Christian walk with the Lord, I had  just  2 of her books,   Even when Pastors are preachers and others might decide to preach something contrary to scriptures, her writings exposes those who are trying to deceive.  Reading  her books with my Sabbath School Lessons has helped me with my walk with the Lord,

I remember someone asking the Salvific (the Good Master) what he must do to INHERIT eternal life and the Salvific pointed him to the Law. We should at least be guided by that response. Obedience may not be the means but willing obedience is certainly the unavoidable/indispensable condition of Salvation. In fact, law keeping, the way Christ enables us to, is the life of Salvation. "Obediently" is the way the saved people live. It is the Choice of Life; being disobedient to the law is choosing death. And we are back to the two trees in the garden. The life in the tree of Life could be yours only if you chose to eat from it. Death was in knowledge of sin only if you chose to eat of that forbidden tree.

Though Ellen White says that obedience is the fruit of *faith, not of salvation, AA 563. Obedience is a condition of salvation, though not its cause.

For those thinking "Jesus is my Sabbath" it's Salvific keeping the Sabbath right

The Shabbat is a salvivic issue because obedience to the commandments is how you demonstrate love for the Father and the Messiah; and thus receive the Spirit of Truth, which the world can not receive:

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

John 14:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:18
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

John 15:10
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

So the Shabbat is part of the ten commandments or covenant of YAHUAH, which is required throughout the generations:

Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Exodus 31:15
Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Exodus 31:16
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Exodus 31:17
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Exodus 31:18
And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Lastly, YAHUSHA kept the Shabbat per the commandments as well; and we are to follow in HIS footsteps:
