Come along for a fun and very silly dental cleaning with two dental hygienists! 🦷😂 My coworker and friend cleans my teeth while we laugh our way through the appointment because apparently after a long day of working in dentistry, we have approximately zero seriousness left. Get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like when a dental hygienist gets her teeth cleaned, plus plenty of dental hygienist humor, dental hygiene life, and just two friends being goofy. I hope you enjoy watching!

I've had braces for six months. I brush my upper and lower teeth separately. For each, I clean the brackets themselves, the area above the brackets, the area below them, and the back of the teeth. Each arch takes about three minutes, so six to seven minutes in total.
My brother says I'm taking too long, but I think this is normal for someone with braces. Is that a reasonable amount of time?
To be honest, I only brush twice a day. But whenever I eat, I use a water flosser to remove the small pieces of food between my teeth, and once a day I use it to floss properly. Is this a good routine, or should I brush more often? I've heard from other orthodontists that I should brush every time I eat.
Thank you!

1. Correct flossing technique!
2. Flossing the back surface of the molars—the ones at the very end(literally so far NO ONE has shared this and, I know this is a saviour!)
3. How to reach back there by loosening your cheek to access the back molars(as soon as I learnt this... flossing became a piece of a cake!)
4. Tip for always rinsing with water after consuming anything(I have developed this habit :))
5. Brushing the inside of every tooth(Again very imp!)
And a lot more! I'll share more in future✨️✨️
I am sending you a virtual hug🫂🫂 and truly wish to meet you and thank you in person one day ❤️❤️
