That moment when Red Guardian told the girl that she was safe, only for her to get voided immediately was so BRUTAL.

I actually cried when Bob started punching the version of himself that he hates only to be more consumed by it and all of his new found friends hugging him to safe everyone. Also I really like Red Guardian!

One of the few movies I’ve seen that actually makes sense defeating the villain with the power of friendship/ talk no jutsu

Here’s a missed Easter egg: Val’s assistant Mel is Melissa Joan Gold aka Songbird. Songbird’s powers are sonic screams and other auditory powers. Mel is the one controlling the sound systems in the Vault as well as on Val’s convoy.

Yelena's Hallway Fight is shot from above to emphasize the SHADOWS, which look like the VOIDS VICTIMS, later in the film.

Bob is not just depressed, he has bipolar disorder. It's almost like he has 3 personalities, a normal one, a depressed one and one that feels powerful and invincible, just like in bipolar disorder.

Depression is getting inside your own head and telling yourself your never good enough.

That is exactly how they portrayed Sentry.

Bob is also an addict. At the end of the move, just like how an alcoholic would refuse a drink as it leads fo a slippery slope, bob refuses to use his powers.

The writers understood the asignment

Are we all just gonna ignore how he did us dirty with 29:23 "that's your mom" and moved on like nothing happen as he continued to explain 😂

How they portrayed the mental health issue in this film is another level.its complicated but i think they done it perfectly blends with nature of their anti heroes. Sentry part is just awesome. End credit is perfect introduction to next movie

You missed when BUCKY made the same knife flip move from Winter soldier in the Cap-fight against Sentry.

I appreciate that Sentry didn't just drop Red Guardian from the top of the building. Instead pulling him back in.

I love that in the climax Alexei was the one who realized that Yelena had to be the one to go to Bob. It’s follows all his references of her “light” and how she brightens the room. He pushes himself to use his strength to free her so she can be the one to “banish the darkness”.

You did not mention one of my favorite parts of Yelena's flashbacks in the Void - she covers the ears of her younger self when the other girls are about to be whipped as punishment. Wanting to protect her childhood self from the trauma. A powerful part of her trying to heal.

One detail I really liked is that when the Thunderbolts are back on the street after fighting Sentry, onlookers are curious at who they are but proceed to go on with their day since these heroes don’t have the fame like the original Avengers. Many pedestrians just walk right by them as they are talking.

The depiction of mental health was amazing in this movie. I for one am normally sick to DEATH of movies and shows going on and on about “oh he has grief, she has trauma, we need to talk about his/her mental health.”

But this was a great way to convey it. I really like the horror of how it’s portrayed and feels like an exorcism at the end. And it’s a good way to show that no one is alone.

The big revelation in this for me was Lewis Pullman. He was so good as a very complicated character. There were so many scenes where his acting ability conveyed what paragraphs of dialogue could not. Absolutely knocked it out of the park.
