The Streek Cargo Trike takes a different approach to moving cargo by building upward instead of simply making the vehicle longer or wider. Its multi-level rack system is designed to increase carrying capacity while keeping the trike’s overall footprint compact enough for crowded urban environments.
In this video, we take a closer look at how the Streek combines electric assistance, vertical cargo storage, compact dimensions, and practical utility in a three-wheel platform built for everyday hauling.
The concept is especially interesting because the design works around tight space constraints rather than fighting them. Instead of turning the trike into a rolling barge, Streek stacks cargo vertically to make better use of the space already available.
The result is a compact electric hauler that borrows some of the same practical thinking found in small Japanese utility vehicles: maximum function from minimum footprint.
We also revisit several other unusual electric trike designs, including the Irrway NXP 500 reverse trike, ZUV electric cargo trike, and Arcimoto tilting e-trike.
Could vertical cargo storage make electric trikes more useful in crowded cities?
