Train to Busan.....evoked every emotion possible despite being a zombie movie

We need a real WWZ remake that follows the book. Multiple mini stories from different prospectives is what we all wanted but was not what we got.

Thanks for the video essay.

WWZ over Return and Day is crazyyy

Where's Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters?

15:11 and yes, The Omega Man (1971) with Charlton Heston is the best version of all...

Remember watching Night of the Living Dead when it premiered on tv 1968? Intense. Watched with brother and sister and dog. Our german shepard put her paws over her eyes!

As a very modern pick i would also add „The Sadness“ to the list, cause it implements a new very disturbing way zombies behave

Certainly hope you list Ahhh Zombie. Great comedic movie.

The Omega man with charlton heston is my favorite

Bro ' Train To Busan should be Higher , Whenever that flick comes on ' or is Already on I'm Watching it All the way throughout to the End . And Train to Busan actually has a sequel ' or more like a prequel , it's Animated ' and Extremely Underrated " .

Why is Evil Dead on this list? Those are demons, not zombies.

Out of your list, I own all but three, on dvd.  Thank you for showing more zombie movies I need to see.  I probably have 3-4 hundred dvds in my collection.   Zombie films are a large percentage.  Thank you for your share.

The night of the living dead. The clips you show for that are from 28 weeks later

any plans on making a top 20 time travel films list?

Shaun of the Dead is a master class in balancing humor, horror, and heart. The pacing is tight, the characters are believable. It has humorous moments, but the horror is straight forward. A nearly perfect film in my opinion.

🤔 Hmmm this is the second time  the video presented 20 but leaves you with 19

I was gonna shut that off when you had Dawn of the Dead as number two, but then you picked it as number one AND number two so OK I’m OK with that. In my humble opinion, I would’ve ranked Return of the Living Deada bit higher and a few other things I would’ve moved around for sure. But good list.

How could you miss two of the most brilliant and funny Australian Zombie films . Wyrmwood :- Road of the dead ( 2014 )  and Wyrmwood:- Apocalypse ( 2021 ) The sequel is even better than the original  , which the vast majority of films fail at achieving . And the use of Zombies to power our heroes vehicles and security compounds is a stroke of cinematic genius  These two deserve to be high up on the list

You must see White Zombie on a big screen in a theater. The B&W is GORGEOUS!
I first saw Night of the Living Dead on its first run when it opened here in NYC on 42nd St. Probably cost $2 to get in before 12 noon. I was just walking around with a friend looking at all the pictures they used to put of the films in the lobby windows. That's how we movie hungry youth used to do it sometimes cause if I remember correctly, that block between 7th and 8th avenues had  nine movie theaters on that one block. Cinema heaven, right?. When we came to this one it looked VERY interesting so we went in. Nothing could have prepared us for the emotional wallop this film delivered...
We talked about it for hours and hours afterwards. Holy shit! What did we just see?? It certainly did not look like a Hollywood film and we immediately became big fans of independent filmmaking.
I remember like it was yesterday and I took two more friends to see it on its first run. They loved it too, although a woman friend had to close her eyes a few times.
