I recently bought Hastings book Vietnam used. I have other history books written by Hastings. blessings

Oh John, I knew you could do it!  I knew you would see the light and come around to American history, LOL.  Great book haul.

Great video John. I love that you're entering your middle aged dad American history era lol!

I didn’t know that Max Hastings wrote about the Cuban Missile Crisis! A lot of very interesting finds here. Thanks John!

Great haul John! Love library book sales!

I didn't know that Edvard Radzinsky had such an impressive résumé! 12:44

Nice haul! I have These Truths but haven’t read it yet. I’ve enjoyed the other Lepore books that I’ve read.

It's cool to see you talk about US history books. I've heard of These Truths. I'm not sure if I'll get to it. Do I need a general US overview if I've got overviews of more zoomed in time periods, plus lots of books on specific US topics? If I read an overview of US history, I think I'd rather have one from a population angle, like Latinos in North America, Indigenous history, or women's history.
