Wait a minute, not only did you let your son and his wife live in your house , but you moved somewhere else at your own expense? Is this supposed to be true, because if it is, this is ridiculous at its greatest.

Stupid argument , I find it very hard to believe that your wife would want you kicked out of your own home and paying to live somewhere else while your son freeloads in the house that you built

These videos in back ground have to change. Pure craziness

Get them out of there ... sell the house if you have to ... NOW

You are responsible for everything that you let happen to you. I don't understand how you could be that foolish to alone somebody live in your home while you pay to live somewhere else. It's not even like your son gave you any money.
And for a year and a half???????
You let this happen to you and I can't feel sorry for you. And when you let somebody else put their name on utilities , another important thing that begins to start giving them possession of that property

I would never let my spouse treat my parent like that and I always had my mother over on birthdays and every special occasion and we lived near my mother in law we had her over she lived 12 hours away from us but we never disrespected either parent and you should at least talk to your grandchildren.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

That was different but impractical; OP gave his son and family a free ride in his house “temporarily” ??
Needed to set some ground rules

Oh come on old man!. First so the house is paid off so you let your Son and Wife move in "And you moved out! Why?" So what did you think they were eventually going to do? Apparently you didn't teach your Son to be Independent or too take care of himself. And it's not so much you! It's your Son and his Wife. So good luck Dad your going to need it. So they probably have a Doctor and Judge set up that you are not in the rite frame of mine?
