Has Brendan McCullum ever watched this video? Asking for a cricket team.

Punter listening attentively to every word of Boycott's. He's not even playing anymore but he's still willing to hear and to learn. Mad respect for that man.

Both were outstanding in this. Ponting showed some elite level insight whilst also displaying an appropriate level of respect to an elder statesman. Respect to both

Ponting pointing out the necessity of taking joy in defensive shots - right next to Boycott. This is a masterclass and as a Test cricket tragic a complete treasure of a video. As an American learning cricket from a declaration match standpoint 20 years ago, Geoffrey Boycott's cricket instruction books were my little Bibles. Man, this video something really special.

sir geoffrey the legend and this coming from an aussie. He gave my father nightmares when he played back in the day. Pops would throw the beer can at the tv when he never got out on day 1

Geoffrey Boycott is so sharp for 77. He should be involved with England's test team.

Geoff Boycott talks pure sense. Straight-talking and knows his cricket inside out.

Boycott's memory is so sharp and so are his skills. It's like he was both playing and commentating regularly just yesterday.

Faultless description of the batsmans' mindset.I used to watch Boycott bat, for what seemed like forever, when i was growing up..absolutely loved it..proper test cricket is a thing of beauty, unmatched in any other sport.

If Geoffery were to 20-20 today,I am sure he would play all 20 overs-by taking a single evey last ball of every over! No doubt,Test Cricket still survives bcz of people like Sir Geoffery, the God of perfect defence! Love to all in this video.
