The Man Who Took Bullets For His Kids — And The Lifeguard Who Saved Him
The Karl Stefanovic Show

On December 14, Bondi was shaken by a horrific attack that changed lives in an instant.
In this episode, Karl brings together two men forever connected by that day.
Elon, a father who nearly lost his life protecting his children — stepping in front of unimaginable violence to shield them.
And Daniel 'Beardy', the lifeguard who refused to stand by — stepping in and helping save Elon’s life in those critical moments. And it wasn't just Daniel, the Bondi Lifeguard crew were all there - risking their lives to save everyone else.
This is their first time sitting down together since the attack.
They walk through what really happened, what goes through your mind in a moment like that, and what it means to survive something you were never meant to.
A story of instinct, courage, and the split-second decisions that change everything.
A BIG thanks to our wonderful sponsors AG1, a very easy part of my everyday making sure I never have a reason to call in sick. Go to https://www.drinkag1.com/karl

No greater love is there, than a man who lays down his life for another. No greater love than this. What you both did. My prayers are for you. May God bless you for your great love.
There’s so many personal stories we haven’t heard from Bondi & it’s important.
The most human & heroic actions during these malicious events, creates widespread empathy, love and unity.
Something our nation needs right now.
What an amazing story to cover, especially from the goats perspective.
