It's hard to believe that this wonderful man died less than one month after this was recorded. It's now 2015 and, strange as it seems, as I never met him, I miss him. I wish he had more time, for it seemed he had so many more stories to tell. This modern-day seanchai will live forever in my heart. Buy his books, listen to his stories and. whenever you're in a pub, raise a glass to his memory.
"May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warmth upon upon your land
May the rain fall soft upon you face until we meet again
And may god hold you in the palm of his hand."

I hope that you have found warmth and comfort upstairs in Italy, Frank McCort. Even with your passing, you remain a treasure to everyone who's lives you've touched.

Wonderful to hear of his involvement in Haiti.
At all his ages, he was a gem.
