Episode 5 is such a rollercoaster. It never gets old seeing someone react to it the first time. Thank you!

Girl…. I’ve seen this episode like 50 times and still cried with you.

I love seeing people get to this episode and realizing what all the first 4 episodes meant. Like you said, it's great story telling. There are different ways of interpreting the first episodes, and then you get to this one, and so much makes sense.  I do wish some "fans" would try to remember what it was like to watch this for the first time, especially if they didn't read the books first, because very few people could possibly know what was coming. I'm not talking about them getting upset when someone misses something obvious - like that Shane is Asian which I saw a couple people do. It's all the stuff that could legitimately be taken more than one way.  I never get tired of seeing people watch this episode for the first time. It's just simply amazing. Good job.

Congratulations on surviving the stealthiest of slow burn and the craziest secret love story all of which you didn't even know you've been watching.  It's so satisfying that the slow burn payoff is communication.  Not to mention what's standing in their way is structural rather than a unintentional misunderstanding.

Wow. What a heartfelt reaction. Thanks for sharing this with us. You brought me back to that moment when pure joy ran through me. What a great Episode.

We all cried, every one of us. See you at the cottage. We're all still here. 🙏

This episode has a special place in my heart, Scott and Kip’s story actually acted as catalyst in my own life. I’m a gay guy from India in his late 20s who struggled with self hate and internalised homophobia for years, I avoided the HR for a while but then came across Scott’s coming out scene on YT randomly. Scott coming out after winning the games made me go ‘maybe i too deserve this in my life’ and finally had me thinking in this direction which ultimately led me to finally accepting myself after over a decade of realising my identity and coming out to friends and family. I know I’m late to the party but maybe I’ll get my sunshine too someday. Scott and Kip’s tale was indeed a Game Changer for me too.

The cuteness level of Shane when he was in hospital heaven was off the charts and he was so proud of himself for asking Ilya to "come to my cottage..." and the "oh no" when the door opens 🥰

every time I see a new ep 5 reaction I get so happy <3

Ilya....so much love and trauma repressed. Connor is so brilliant.

Shane scene with Rose is so beautiful 😭😭 top tier acting

I thought I was done crying over this show and yet...yeah was right there with you. Lovely reaction!

Yeah, not sure how they got so much lovely stuff all in one episode, but it's got to be one of the most powerful episodes of television ever.

Such a real reaction lmao this show had me BAWLING

I just watched this series again (7th time through personally) and every time I get emotional. And every time I see reactors watch for the first time, I get emotional. I don't think I'll ever not be emotional at the end of this episode. The episode as a whole is the greatest episode of TV I've ever seen. I'll never forget the first time. Thank you for your beautifully emotional reaction. LGBTQ stories need to be shared more. I believe this will lead to that.

it was also 9 whole years for Shane and ilya

Wait until you’ll  come to the cottage ❤️🥹let’s talk then: I’m not crying, you’re crying 🤭🥹

Thank you for that real, raw reaction. It is truly brilliant storytelling.

Tampa is always quite something. They love each other so much
