Who Ya Gonna Call? 👻 | Goose Creek x GHOSTBUSTERS 🚫 ALL 7 Candles Reviewed!

Who ya gonna call? Goose Creek! It’s time for another Lit Review episode, and today I'm taking on the Goose Creek x Ghostbusters Collection! I have the full collection, so we’re going through all seven candles to see whether this collaboration delivers more than just some seriously fun packaging.
We’ll take a look at each of the Ghostbusters-inspired designs, talk scent notes and cold impressions, and then get into the real research: my post-lamp experience with each fragrance. I’ll break down scent accuracy, strength, throw, how each scent develops under the lamp, and my overall thoughts on the collection.
And with seven candles to work through, there are bound to be some paranormal successes…and perhaps a few fragrances that should have stayed in the containment unit. 😂 At the end, I’ll rank the entire collection from my least to most favorite and let you know which ones I think are the standouts.
A huge thank you to Goose Creek for gifting me these candles to review. As always, the candles may have been provided to me, but my opinions, critiques, and rankings are entirely my own.
💬 Which Ghostbusters candle were you most excited to see? And after hearing my reviews, which one would you choose?

Ecto 1 is a great performer but I'm so sad that I despise it 😂
I love fruit and leather. There's a raspberry leather scent in wax that's one of my favs from Let's Get Lit but idk why this one actually triggers me. It's totally a me thing though. 🫠
I also agree who you gonna call is great! It smells like a mechanic shop but then a beautiful watery bergamot to me and I love it!! I thought this was a pretty good collab as well!
I have no ties to the movies. Just casual viewing really but it's awesome to hear your stories and your connection to it.
They've been knocking it out of the park with the collab picks. Everyone gets a collab that gives them all the nostalgia and the feels and I love it. 🖤
I was so sad to hear that Public Library was light for you!! Oh no 😢 That one surprised me by performing well on burn, so much so that I bought 3 backups. I wonder if it’s a batch discrepancy (I read other reviews where some people had great strength, and others where it was poor)?? That’s such a bummer. It reminds me of the Pumpkin Creme Brulee situation, where that one annoyed me on burn but was scentless under your lamp.
I don’t know how to describe Ecto-1, either. But I couldn’t appreciate it 😂 It was so darn weird to me. Maude!
It was so interesting to hear how these performed under the lamp. Thank you for always giving us in depth reviews!!
I bought Stay Puft before any reviews were out of it, and am so glad I did. The scent notes remind me of Vanilla Romance, and the candle does smell similar to that scent, minus the cardamom. It is definitely in my wheelhouse, being a kind of perfumey marshmallow scent. I absolutely love it. I kind of regret not getting the Public Library candle at the same time, but will be getting it soon.
Goose Creek had a Halloween candle several years ago called Cozy Halloween Night that I adored, and I feel like Stay Puft and Public Library have some of its DNA, like if you mixed the two, you might get something close to that old scent.
I have not tried Vanilla Birch, but now will have to add it to my list of things to try, since it is similar to Stay Puft. I seriously love Stay Puft enough I will be getting more when able.
Like your hubs, mine is also interested in the Slimer candle, so we'll have to pick that up too, next order, haha.
I noticed all of my Ghostbusters candles were poured less than a month ago so I am going to hope they get a bit stronger if I wait to use them. 🤞
Appreciated the stories :)
Ray Parker was a sneaky man when he wrote the theme song.
I was 13 when the movie took over that summer of 1984,
It wasnt until years later that i "got" the "Bustin' makes me feel good"
double entendre. heh
We're around the same age and so my connection to the Ghostbusters is similar to yours. My sister and I still walk by each other and one of us out of nowhere will say, "Zuul!"😂
I didn't care for the collection burning but the nostalgia hit home. I didn't pick up two of them and after your review, I think I'll pass😂. I'm just not into orange candles but I do like Simmer and Spice from B&BW. ❤ Thanks for the review🎉
