I went looking for the PERFECT betta fish… but somehow I came home with the one I never expected to choose.
Today I’m touring Keller Farms, one of the coolest fish stores in Texas and a place you may recognize from videos from me and @Finatic They had tons of incredible aquarium fish and some seriously beautiful bettas, but when it came time to pick one for my empty planted aquarium, I couldn’t stop looking at one little beat-up fish that most people probably would have walked right past.
He wasn’t the brightest. He wasn’t the prettiest. His fins were tattered. But something about him made the decision pretty easy.
So I brought him home.
Now he gets the aquarium I originally set up for a betta two years ago, and I can’t wait to see what he looks like after some time to settle in and recover.
