I melted my pump from hammer usesage for hours oil was boiling.
I have an early s150 that is weak forward and back on the LH side only.
Hasn't changed performance from 1600 to 2900 hours
Oil and filter look clean and LH wheel motor looks pristine inside.
How often do hydraulic reliefs go bad in a hydrostatic pump.
Or more likely a scratched up brass plate the pistons run on?
This machine had a throttle that continuously dropped to an idle on its own, so I suspect it was operated a lot at low rpm.
I'd say LH side is 70 to 80 % power and really hasn't degraded in over 1000 hours use.
