Falling in love with Bae after five seconds of Snake Eyes is reasonable.

Once upon a time an interviewer asked Fuwamoco if Shiori is known for her singing. Mococo gave a thoughtful pause then said "Not yet". AND SHIORI HAS BEEN SINGING BEAUTIFULY SINCE!

I'm really glad you reacted to "I'll still be here." I don't think it gets the love it deserves because it's a heavy song instead of upbeat and bouncy. Gigi explained after the video released that Gigipapa was the best dad in the world to her. That he took het to conventions and always encouraged her to do what she loved even if it was cringe or nerdy. He's the reason she is Gigi Murin today and I think it's a beautiful song to honor him.

I remember a comment from somewhere saying something like "Gigi isnt someone who's immune to pain and sadness, and she's far from the only person who's had their entire life destroyed from loss. The difference is that she's the one who picked up the broken pieces of her life and decided to go on and become the joy and whimsy of our lives that we know her for today" 🧡😭

fun fact about Calli, she was the first vtuber in history to perform in front of the emperor of Japan and the royal family. It was an insane event! There's an unofficial clip with some sound artifacts from that performance at Osaka expo 2025

The screams in breakout are mostly done by Biboo, the smallest member of advent. Some of the screams are mixed between her(lower screams) and Mococo(higher screams).

Can't wait for Snake eyes to be added into holodori song list, Bae songs sounds great for rhythm games.

Some info on snake eyes, the backup dancers are dance instructors of Bae and other hololive members. They mocapped the dance on the mv, maybe because it's easier for them to dance it rather than have it animated 😂

I'm surprised no one mentioned it, but for "Help," that song was made with "natori," who made a song named "Overdose." Kobo did a cover of "Overdose", and apparently, natori was so impressed, natori reached out to Kobo about making a song. That's who you heard in the background.

But seriously, imagine making a cover so good, the original artist reaches out to YOU about making an original song together. Impressive stuff.

It's amusing to see reviewers absolutely gob smacked being exposed to Hololive music for the first time.
Enjoy Holodori!

29:37 Oh no 😭 So, storytime. This song is dedicated to Gigi papa. Gigi's dad. He never questioned her interests or anything, he'd take her and her friends to conventions, introduce her to art, music, TV shows, he was a great dad and her biggest supporter 🧡

Bae also usually does her own choreography. She’s said she likes to make choreo that’s actually fun to dance and perform.

Also agreed that people don’t talk about her singing enough. She’s has insane range. Her album Zodiac shows off all the kinds of singing she can do

The rap song Calli covered, Luv Sic is a cover of the legendary jazz rap producer Nujabes, who sadly died in 2010 in a car accident. The rapper on the original track is the incredible Shing02. Nujabes was responsible for the soundtrack of Samurai Champloo, and was HIGHLY influential in the jazz rap scene along with J Dilla. Nujabes also pretty much single handedly spawned the "lo-fi hip hop to study to" genre. RIP Jun Seba. Your music lives on.

I absolutely lost it when she posted that cover.

Calli just doesn't do 100% Japanese rap/rap anymore. She's branching out as growing artists do. She dipped into rock/metal to the point her songs are in the anime Gachiakuta (OP and insert song).

Also, fun fact, she has the most song writing credits out of all the talents in holo by a wide margin. She came out the gate from debut writing 4 originals and never looked back. She has also written songs for Hololive as a whole and for her holomems, that Ina song you listened to Calli wrote.

At around 90 originals, I can only think 1 song she didn't have creative input on and it was the Metal Gear Solid collab.

Tako Takover's art is all done by Ina herself btw and the lyrics are from Mori ! Ina designed all of Myth's fan mascots back in the day and the Takodachi is forever a fan favorite : D

59:05 not only can she sing and dance, she actually did the choreography for this song herself. Yeah, Bae is crazy talented.

And yes, the drop ratbutt stunlock is real.

I always fail trying to not tear up every time I hear GiGi’s song. Dam.

Some context for Ash Again.
The song was a Gawr Gura and Cassey Edwards collab. He was a composer and producer for the Devil May Cry 5 soundtrack, Devil Trigger and Bury the Light are his most iconic songs, really a dream music collab. Ash Again was also her last song before her graduation from hololive and reminder she was then by far the most subbed Vtuber ever. Her hololive EN Myth genmates (the 1st EN generation) all appear in the music video toward its end, Ame, Calli, Kiara and Ina in order and each in their iconic color. For me the lyrics hit even harder with the context of her graduation, it really was the end of an era when it came out.

I think you might enjoy "Monsters and Men" by Shiori Novella.
Mumei's "mumei" is an emotional masterpiece.

Kiara’s “Chimera” and IRyS’s “Carbonated Love” are both amazing songs.

All of them are amazing! Gigi's one makes me cry everytime when I watch it. 🥲 I also recommend Violet by Ina, Shinkiro by Gura x Marine, and End of a life by Mori!
