Anyone 2026?

In one of his interviews, Bishop Sheen said that when he died, and went to heaven, he would want a little rest and ask the Blessed Lord to return to earth so that he would continue working. His wish was granted because he is still instructing us. Thank you, Bishop Sheen.

So privileged that this was filmed that this generation can access this treasures of sermons.

I am in the process of applying for seminary. If I could become but half the man of God that Fulton Sheen was I'd consider myself blessed.

I am Orthodox, I cannot recall hearing anyone in all of Christendom speak so eloquently in my time. I would love to have had a few hours to converse with him.

Imagine he spoke in the 60s. And his words are still 1000% valid and applicable to our 21st century. Every single word of his prophetic reflection describes exactly what we are living and experiencing right now.
He spoke without any notes because that was the Spirit of God speaking through a Holy Person.

Bishop Sheen wrote 73 books all relevant today as then. God blessed us with a wonderful teacher.

Prayer, rosary, Examination of conscious, confession, mass, Eucharist, Bible. The sky's the limit!

My Protestant parents and grandmother watched him almost every week...and me too...when all TVs were only black and white!  This is a powerful message I will watch again.  I have been Roman Catholic for over three years now.  I am only 74.

I have never heard this man speak before. I am blown away at how valid his points remain even in a contemporary America. This was a real gem to watch and really interesting perspective.

Blessed Fulton Sheen, pray for  us, especially those being attacked by the evil ones.

Even as a Lutheran, I find that Bishop Sheen's words help to inspire my faith and guide me to always seek Christ Jesus. We need more men of faith like him.

"Peter was willing to have a divine Christ...but he was not willing to have a suffering one!"

Lord, help me to have the strength and perseverance to suffer with you.

Lord Jesus help me not to go down to the devil,, but even in difficulties stay faithful in Jesus ❤

St. Michael the Archangel, defends us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil, May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do you Oh Prince of the Heavenly Host by the divine power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all wicked spirits who wander through this world seeking the ruin of souls, AMEN!!!!

My late mother had a special place in her Catholic heart for this great man and Bishop. She often watched his tapped talks like this on the television  in the 90’s and into the 21st century. Now I know why.
