A troubled, vulnerable young girl taken  advantage of by grown men then killed and disposed of like she was nothing,,.. absolutely vile

Absolutely heartbreaking rest in peace Karen Price sleep well darling Xx 😢😢

This was a real young woman, who felt everything any young teen feels, and no, she wasn't Miss Nobody, but that's how she probably felt. The saddest part is she wasn't allowed to grow up and find that out.  For the detective to say the 3 were in on it together is a disgrace to her memory, Allison was a victim too, of an adult predator, and Karen probably died protecting her. 🥀 She was identified by her dental records, considered solid evidence for ID around the world for decades.

This broke my heart so sad poor girl rip sweet girl 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

It’s so sad unfortunately there’s lots of young people like this, young girls and young boys.
But there are also lots of evil predators looking out for these vulnerable kids also.

This is heartbreaking. How could her parents not miss her? The poor girl must have felt so lonely! So many people out there longing for children of their own and then you get parents who’s child goes into care and goes missing and isn’t even missed by her own parents. Beggars belief. RIP darling girl, I’m sorry you were let down 💔💔

It's so sad when such things happen, even worse back then as CCTV wasn't really a big thing everywhere, as it is today, R.I.P to all those gone before their times, may their souls rest in eternal perfect peace......🙏🙏🙏

I read about this in 1990 in the Sunday Times magazine. As a parent I cannot comprehend not being in contact with my children. This is what sticks out for me.

Makes you wonder how many other bodies over the years haven't been discovered

That Ali person was in Rita, sue & bob too 😂

Idris Ali was just as much to blame. Neither of them should ever be released

Its like an advert for smoking

People don't realise how important the hair is for recognition.

Rest in peace girl 😢

Ali’s conviction was changed to manslaughter and he was released in 1994. Charlton’s still in prison.

Kulvinder Ghir of "Goodness Gracious Me" fame appearing in the reconstruction as Idris

Dr. Whitaker got Rose West put away for life due to how he could age little Charmaine West by her teeth at the time of her death, he's a brilliant man. Fred West was in prison at the time of her death.

Karen's life and fate was virtually identical to Jason Swift (who was also featured in a Crimewatch special, murdered by the Sidney Cooke gang). From chaotic families, in and out of care homes, ending up on the street and in the hands of violent sexual predators.

Alan Charlton had his 2nd appeal dismissed in 2016

Poor girl and I hope her family are ok and dealing with things as well as they can. There are some vile people around and it is awful that she should have been used and discarded like this. I notice that her sister has posted here, and she should be rightfully upset with the way they were treated by the social services at the time. I am glad that the police took the time to solve the case.
