Shamamon becoming BurningGreymon could have been such a good idea if they kept it up, like have that Gotsumon find Kendogarurumon's spirit and Koji had to beat it to get the spirit. Have them have to literally fight the beast spirits to earn their power.

Knowing that the evil spirits had designated kids to evolve from really does feel like a waste. Like it's very clear that Takuya and Kouji are the strongest out of that season and having the other 4 be able to swap elements on the fly would've been a nice way to even out that power gap.

I wish Spirit Evolution would come back. It was such a cool concept for Digimon.

Shoutmon Spirit digivolving into Agunimon, since the black fingers, fire, dragon and blue eyes. Would be fun too

11:33 It took me until learning Japanese to realise why Mushmon evolves into Woodmon. It's likely because the Japanese for Mushroom is Kinoko (lit. "Child of tree"). Probably because they grow at the bases of trees.

now im just imagining a digimon using both a Spirit and a digimental to digivolve😭

The whole Agunimon being Frontier's spin on Agumon reminded me that in the latin american spanish dub of the series they actually mistranslated ToyAgumon as ToyAgunimon

I'm disappointed by the darkness spirit, they did my boys dirty.

My favorite instance of Spirit Digivolution is in Digimon Cyber Sleuth with Kudamon 2006 digivolving into Lobomon with the human spirit of light! Gotta love a free type champion for Kudamon. Even feels like 02 with armor.

(Frontier love let's goooo)

Last time I watched Frontier, I've noticed that all the DigiDestined have a rival in the evil Spirits. They line up almost perfectly with the DigiDestined that can use the evil Spirits, it's just the main two that are off.

@passionateaudiobooks2735 1 year ago

That's so cool, had no idea the Frontier gang could ever become the evil spirits.

@milosstosic553 1 year ago

Ok, so Tailmon and Hawkmon/Aquilamon fuse to produce Silpymon, while their spirit forms Fairymon and Shutumon fuse to produce JetSilphymon, nice touch.

Here's how I see it for the Five Warriors of Justice.

Agumon - Spirits of Flame
Gabumon - Spirits of Light
Gomamon - Spirits of Ice
Biyomon - Spirits of Wind
Tentomon - Spirits of Thunder

I really hope they bring the rest of the spirit warriors and there beast spirits in the new digimon game. I would like to build a team around them

On the matter of Veemon becoming Lobomon, I think it has less to do with the connection with the digiegg of friendship and more to do with the fact that ALL of Veemon's Mega forms use swords and/or the light element to fight. Magnamon uses Light, UlforceVeedramon uses Swords, and Imperialdramon Paladin mode uses both. Heck, the only digivolutions Veemon has at all that use Fire are Flamedramon and Veedramon. The light and sword connections might be why these Mega forms for Veemon all end up a member of the Royal Knights, or the inspiration for the Royal Knights in Impetialdramon's case.

If all they’re all for one world..there’s a world for them all! 😭😭❤️

@thereallycao9775 1 year ago

God I hope they add more Spirit Digimon to Time Stranger. They were some of my favorites.

Speaking of Spirit Evolutions... I wish the ohter Legendary Warriors had been more directly connected to the Adventure era, as in, stuff like AncientSeadramon, AncientRosemon, AncientBirdramon and all that.
