Join me while I turn a raw Torddu Mule sheeps fleece into a naturally dyed jumper.
The pattern is 'sweater no15' by My Favourite Things Knitwear.
The sheeps fleece is from Sara @woollywales on Instagram.
2 hours fleece washing
21 hours carding and spinning 600g/1200 meters of 2ply yarn.
58 hours to knit the jumper including mistakes.
10 hours dying first with rhubarb root and then dyers chamomile.
91 hours from raw fleece to finished garment.
I do promise to post landscape footage in the future. Some of these projects are filmed over 5 months or more so its just taking a little time to work through what I have before I can post fresh projects filmed in landscape instead.
Thanks for watching!
Jenny
