I laughed with complete understanding and agreement when you said you have more fleece coming because “that’s who you become.” 😂😂😂 Sooooooo true!❤🎉

I’ve barely started watching yet but the horrors do persist and yet

I love Shaun!!! what a cute sheep!!

A flicker brush or a Lockpop would make quicker work of the tips. It’s beautiful once removed. 🎉

the corriedale / cvm green mix is SCRUMPTIOUS

I gasped out loud at the first fluffy as a cloud batt. Right out loud. Didn't feel at all weird about that. :)

It counts! It’s the fleece part in the tour de fleece!

I know you have your process pretty streamlined but you may want to consider getting a flicker brush and flicking the tips off. It’s far easier on your hands and body. I know you’re young and probably don’t have the body pain of using older folks but preserving your body means more spinning!! 😅 I used a dog brush for years but once I got a real flicker brush, I always recommend the investment ($40 vs $5). A real flicker has longer, stiffer tines and it takes one flick instead of 3 or 4 so again, it’s easier on your body and sooooo much faster. I bought the Ashford flicker because it was the only one locally available. That said, I would absolutely buy it again. It’s one of my most treasured pieces of equipment. I use it to clean my hand cards or drum carder as well. So awesome

First time watching, had to giggle at the "Kinzi" scale just casually in the background of some of your shots

I’m not a spinner, but this was such a fun and inspiring video for me! That first white batt was so surprisingly beautiful! (Also, it was very cool to see your hand spun cardigan on Ravelry’s homepage! 🎉)

Well done, and thank you for sharing your process and your joy with preparing fleece, carding, spinning & plying.

this was so fun to see the process! The batts look SO FLUFFY and make such a cute color when mixed with the green!!

Amazing from start to finish.

Well… this just makes me want to get deeper into spinning and try processing my own wool 😂

I've never heard Shetland called coarse fleece and was glad to hear you say it was soft.  Also saw where people suggested a flick carder for those tips.

Thoroughly enjoyed this video!! The blended batts looks so delicious 😂 could i please ask where you buy fleeces from??

I'm super intrigued by the immersion heater!!! I looked them up, and there's some discrepancies in how quickly they heat the water. So I figured I'd ask your personal experience! Do you have the 1250w, 1500w, or 2000w? And how quickly does it heat the 3 gallons?

Where did you get the smaller corriedale bits?

New to sheep breed names. What is CDM, please??
