UPDATE So, after listening to the EP ON REPEAT since this reaction, just wanted to say a few pointers...

1) I misheard NF on Fear I thought he said he lost his grandma and his best friend and interpreted it as two separate people when he obviously means his grandma was his best friend! (easy to misunderstand/mishear things on first listen).
2) I am glad he and his wife are still together (thanks for letting us know)
3) This EP SLAPS I love it more and more with every listen
4) It is all I will be listening to for the foreseeable future
5) It is all I have been listening to since this reaction

Jasmine x

His grandma died recently....she raised them when their mom couldn't ...

Home about to start.  Jasmine, "I won't cry on this one".  Me, "lol oh boy, she's not ready".

NF and his wife are still together. She posted pictures of them as a family today on Instagram and she's been promoting the EP. They're still together with two kids.

“I’m not going to cry on this one”, hits play on second saddest (if not saddest) song NF has ever released.

“ home “ absolutely crushed me, going through a recent death of a childhood friend and man it hit deep..

"I'm not gonna cry on this one"
*Presses play*
"Ok, I'm gonna cry" 😂😂

starts second song, home “i’m not going to cry to this one”. first drum plays, “oh i’m gonna cry”

Gryffindor hoodie, spider-man shirt, three donkeys in the background on a painting.  Theses are my kind of people lol

That's the same reaction I had listening this morning. Literally tears just started pouring listening to this.

She is freaking adorable all the faces she’s making trying to get ready for the emotional waterfall🤣🤣🤣

NF is a true artist and if there's a better artist out there right now, I haven't heard them.

The call back to the last bar of Mansion "in order to that, I'd open the door. Is that me or the fear talking I don't know anymore." Saying fear is knocking immediately sucked me into this. NF is the best artist out there.

5 stages of grief
denial, home
anger, give me a reason/washed up
bargaining, who i was
depression, fear
acceptance, sorry

Such a powerful EP, I will need time to process.

Overall, mood of this EP is Anger...
Fear- NF is angry with himself and God for letting Fear back in.
Home- Sad and angry that his grandma passed.
Who I am- angry that he is stuck in a loop.
Give Me A Reason- telling people to give him a reason to be angry.
Sorry- literally being angry, and having to apologize.
Washed up- angry that he's asking himself if he's washed up....
"Anger" has finally been released into the world. Johnny is about to get all that smoke! After a decade of waiting.... I'm totally here for it! If you know, you know... cheers!

Just so you guys know, Nate and Bridgette didn’t divorce or separate or anything like that

Everything that takes place on this EP after he says “I lost my voice” on the opening track, isn’t actually him speaking. Fear has taken over his mind, planting seeds of doubt about everything in his life.

Fear - Maybe God doesn’t actually want me to have peace
Home - Maybe life won’t be worth it if my grandma is gone
Who I Was - Maybe I won’t break the cycle of generation trauma
Give Me a Reason - Maybe I won’t be the same artist if I don’t have anger and fear driving me
Sorry - Maybe I won’t fix my anger problems and my wife will leave
Washed Up - Maybe I don’t have anything left to give my fans and this industry

Not sure if this is 100% the case, but this is how I interpret the project and it makes the most sense to me personally.

Loved this video guys ❤

Did you notice that no one came in? They didn't have to. Nate was kidding himself that fear was outside. It has been inside the whole time.

Him and his wife haven't split. She been out pushing this EP and just posted pictures for them together.
