I was 12 when I first heard this, now I'm 52.....
It has more meaning every time I hear it.
Goosebumps.

Seeing Iron Maiden play, is a religious experience 🤘🤘🤘

Iron Maiden was never played on the radio waves but has the biggest fan base than any other rock or heavy metal band...great reaction guys

“…realize you’re living in the golden years”.

The most important words ever sung.

Maiden are the very best of this genre.

The guitarist, Adrian Smith, who wrote this, didn't even want to bring it to the band leader (bassist Steve Harris) because he didn't think he'd like it, lol 😂🤘

Adrian wrote this about the grind that was the Powerslave tour and how he felt he was missing out on his real life while being away in his professional life

The guitar riff is reflective of how fast time passes us by.  The past is the past, and tomorrow will be the past before you know it.  Savor every moment.

Chills on my skin every time i listen this song

1984 was pure heavy metal magic.

Bruce Dickinson pilot, author, screen writer, brew master, chemist, competitive international fencer, soldier, PhD, entrepreneur, flight instructor, seventh son of a seventh son.
I believe the song is Tubular Bells and it was exorcist, halloween was simular.

Reallize you living in the Golden Years🎉❤

They are the fine wine of metal,  legendary

This song is the sound of the greatest decade ever- the 80's❤

I loved iron maiden when i was in high school in the 80s Eddie is the man

If you only get to see one single rock concert in your entire lives, see Iron Maiden. These guys have been on top of their game for almost 50 years and STILL sell out arenas worldwide and put on a show every bit as good as they did when I saw them in 1983. If any band can lay claim to the greatest metal band to ever exist, these guys are top of the heap.

This is my era (I'm 61). This is what Rock was always meant to be; high energy and unapologetically bombastic. :-D

Iron Maiden has played more than 2,500 live concerts in 59 countries. I can't imagine the things they have seen and done over the years.

One of my Favorite songs !!!! Up The Irons !!!, All the 80's ruled for Rock and Metal

You are correct that the guitar riff is reminiscent of Tubular Bells
