The best thing about this idea is that in being in the Odyssey, that implies that each of these characters fought in the Trojan War beforehand. Even Villager. Especially Villager.

The bag of wind is completely unnecessary to the Hero of Wind. Toon Link would simply direct the winds to take him home.

I definitely think a few of the characters would’ve convinced Circe to aid them, and by proxy, gotten past the sirens. Most notably the Fire Emblem characters, since recruiting enemies is a recurring mechanic.

A lot of characters like Sephiroth and Ridley can just fly from Troy to Ithaca without ever entering a single dangerous situation.

Minecraft Steve is shown to be able to stay awake indefinitely if he wants to, in Minecraft you don’t need to sleep, and aside from phantoms spawning there are no negative consequences. Even if he decides to sleep, he can just put the bag of winds in an ender chest and no one can do anything to take it.

To make a case for Sonic surviving the Siren's song, he's overcome corruptive influences before. In Sonic Unleashed, a creature called Dark Gaia was unleashed upon the world. At night, he could cause people to give into despair or lose themselves altogether. Sonic himself has a small piece of Dark Gaia inside him, meaning Dark Gaia's influence should be stronger on him than anyone else. When the sun sets, Sonic does transform into the Werehog, but he never loses himself. In fact, when it's revealed that Sonic has been traveling with Light Gaia (the natural counter to Dark Gaia), it's made clear that Light Gaia isn't doing anything to protect Sonic, and tbat he's able to keep control of himself purely because of his own sheer will.

I'm pretty sure if he can spend Night after night shrugging off Dark Gaia without even noticing that he's doing so, he can shrug off some mermaids singing in his ear.

The Poseidon trial only affects those who both blinded the cyclops and did not kill it.

Meta Knight would not use an underhand tactic and would fight it fairly, but if he did (which he wouldn’t), he could fight Poseidon because in Meta Knightmare, which is not canon but reflects a canonical skill level, he defeats Galacta Knight, the strongest being to have ever existed.

Counterargument: Against being turned into a pig and getting controlled by a song, you need to account for characters with Resistances to Transmutation and Mind Manipulation. If they can resist those things, they are in no danger in those trials.

Take Kirby for example: Kirby can turn back to normal after being turned into a tiny star by King Dedede' Star Split in some games. And he is not turned into a bubble by Bubble Head enemies. Kirby can also enter areas where Dark Matter and similar enemies have clouds that mind control others. In Star Allies, players can not only break out of mind control by maching the pad stick themselves, but break others out of it by throwing a Friend Heart at them. So at that point, Kirby, Dedede, and Meta Knight can save everyone who doesn't resist Mind Manipulation.

The siren scenario seems off. There’s way more creative scenarios that could happen to prevent this, such as convincing Circe to help them. Could’ve been a more fun vid, but still fun idea

Snake absolutely has the firepower to beat Scylla. Snake is already used to fighting giant metal gears and casually destroying them with his stinger missiles. Not only that, he would easily be able to survive Poseidon’s storm, as he literally has scuba gear and an entire SDV like in subnautica
