My man really hit her with the "what's that over there" before hitting the proposal, congrats!

9 years of being together and he says it's about time to pop the question. This man lives the manga length of romance titles.

I do not know why I was crying....its not like he proposed to me, but when Aki realized he was proposing, she seemed incredibly happy and I started crying.

That was too wholesome.

Aki's mom saying "I've considered you my son for 8 years" and ending it with "bye my children" was so sweet ngl, Aki's family really has taken Joey in as part of it, and this just officiated it its so nice 😭

I still remember when we were all suspecting they were dating but they weren't public about it yet, and now they're getting married. Congrats to both of you!!

That was the most modest, unelaborate, and unassuming proposal I've ever seen a YouTuber make.  Thanks for not making the 99% of us who are not YouTubers and have proposed in a similar way not look bad!  Congrats bro!

Congrats, Joey the Married Man!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH! Good job big man, what a perfect proposal. It's so funny that you can't hear anything you say when proposing to her but then it's just her screaming "yes" and "wow". brings a tear to my eye

You chose to propose when Aki was being herself, waking up early to look at the animals. That's so cute! I'm so happy for you guys!

Congrats man! Dr Jelly would be very proud indeed 🎉

Joey and Garnt both going from boyfriends to husbands, man i feel old.

i love how you proposed. nothing big, no crowd. just you and her silently watching birds. this is how i wish most proposals are like.

[ edit: guys please don't take offense to my last statement 💀 i just mean that crowd proposals puts more pressure on the person being proposed to and forces them to say yes or look like an asshole for saying no in public. to me proposals should be something intimate between two people who love each other but hey if you like crowd proposals then you do you i'm not here to stop you lol i'm just stating my harmless opinion ]

joey can finally introduce aki as “mah waife”,so proud of him

i felt aki's mom when she screamed ANAKKKK!!!! LMAOOO PEAK FILIPINO MOM ENERGY congrats to the both of you!

A lot of the comments are mentioning Aki’s mom’s reaction but man Aki’s dad’s reaction is also so sweet- just the confusion on how to react and the happy crying

I watch one random engagement video and all the sudden the algorithm gives me non stop engagement videos.  I have no clue who you are man,  but congratulations to you!!!

Now it's Connor's turn to propose to Chris.. or Ludwig... Idk, who's his boyfriend these days???

"What mom wouldn't let her daughter be happy?" My god that made me cry because I wish my mom gave me that reaction when we told her. My mom's first response to my fiance was, "As long as you get baptized." It was a conditional yes and when I said yes at the proposal, my initial ask afterwards was, "Did you ask my mom?" I feel somewhat relieved to hear your mom so happy for you both. Fyi my mom is also Filipino

THE WAY HE REDIRECTS HER VISION, WHILE SHE'S DISTRACTED, HE TAKES A KNEE. SHE TURNS AROUND SURPRISED, WITH TEARS ROLLING DOWN HER FACE: SHE SAYS YES.

TWO WORDS: ABSOLUTE CINEMA.

When mom shouted "Anak!" my heart melted 🇵🇭
Nothing beats hearing any mother be excited!
