Watched this movie for like 500 times since 2013, and not ashamed to watch it for 500 more...

When the Colonel turns to Feora and says "A good death is it's own reward" and crashes the plane into Zods ship is one of the most badass movie moments in the last 20 years.

I was born in 1964. At the age of two I became a Superman fan with The New Adventures of Superman. The first Saturday morning cartoon. I was there the first day to see Chris Reeve. I didn't think he was just a great Superman. I thought he was a movie star! One of the greatest actors of all time. I've seen every Chris Reeve movie in the theater. To be a true fan of his. Chris's best movie is Somewhere in Time. Man of Steel is a perfect Superman movie. Henry Cavill is the perfect Superman. It took until 2013 for special effects to finally be able to show exactly what Superman can do.

The fight between Clark and Zod...When gods go to war

Finally one person who gets key moment's the music the meaning of the vision Snyder had for this franchise hope you keep watching the next movies to this universe Wonder woman and B v S

Superman and Lois had only just met, their relationship has only just begun!

So this is what Stabler was doing after he left the SVU

This movie is so good I cannot express!!!, The cast, the cinematography, the music is incredible!!  This is the best superman story to date.

Yes, you have Zod's best line: "HERESY!!!" 🤣

In the year 2000, Russell Crowe was filming 'Proof of Life' at an English boarding school where a young Henry Cavill was a student. HC asked his advice as to how he could become an actor. So fitting and poetic that many years later, he played Cavill's Dad ❤

The fight scene with the IHOP and the throwing trains, etc is one of the coolest superhero movie fights ever.

Some miss that no, Lois's article didn't trigger them coming here, BUT it is why they want Lois to come with Clark aboard the Kryptonian ship. The news was blasting her name on international 24/7 news, which gets sent right out into space, and Kryptonians are more than advanced enough to pick up our transmissions, and paese through them without any sort of issue. They took control of the globes satellite emergency system to tell the whole world their message, in every possible language.

That was an appropriate and perfect use of the Wilhelm scream...lol

If someone asked me for an example of a perfect film—one in which the script was meticulously thought out, the story was complete, the music built emotion, the action scenes were gripping, the visuals were meticulously crafted, and the message was timeless—Man of Steel would be the first, if not the only, film that immediately came to mind. I couldn't name a single scene that didn't work here. And it was made in 2013. This movie really was waaaaay ahead of its times <3

Also, to this day, Man of Steel is the best-written portrayal of Kal-El in whole history of Superman movies and shows ^^

Amy Adams played a villain of the week on Smallville,  they put her in a fat suit. And one of the soldiers played a recurring role on Smallville as a scientist.

Funny thing about his clothes burning...at some point in time lore said his aura of "superman" extended 3cm off his body and that's why his suit doesn't take damage unless he does.  IDK if that is cannon but it explains his Superman suit never getting destroyed but not is normal clothes.

Finally someone acted like an adult and understood the tornado scene and understood that he had to snap his neck.
Thanks, sometimes you gotta make hard decisions. And This man of steel had the gutts to make them.

I would say This movie dives more deep into Superman/Clark's emotional state and finding himself who he is among the unknown. Because he wants to be Clark Kent his true self where the world is forcing him to be Superman. So he has to find to focus and balance it.

Man of Steel isn’t just a superhero spectacle like every superhero of Marvel and new Superman is. It studies Superman’s character. It’s about his identity crisis. It’s about a man trying to figure out who he is while the entire world is demanding that he become something else.

The world forces him to be Superman.
But he is Clark Kent.

Clark is his true self — kind, compassionate, human. He feels doubt. He feels grief. He feels anger. He feels heartbreak when he can’t save everyone. Yet the world doesn’t allow him that humanity. It wants a flawless savior. A symbol. A god.

And when he fails to prevent destruction — that is not even his fault — they blame him. As if he doesn’t already carry the guilt. As if he doesn’t feel the pain more deeply than anyone else. He feels the pain and blames himself the most out of anyone.

That’s why the themes hit harder. Because they reflect reality. Society builds heroes, then crucifies them when they aren’t perfect.

Batman V Superman - The Ultimate Edition next!!!!!

I....fucking love this movie. If Michael Bay and Nolan had a baby, his name would be Zack Snyder. This movie so far from perfect, there are so many dumb things about it, and it fails SUPERMAN, as a character...but the acting, the music, the tone, the story, the atmosphere, the aura, all of it is unmatched. I'm as straight as an Arrow, but Henry Cavill is so damn majestic in this movie, he is incredible to look at. As a Die Hard DBZ fan, this was the best version  of the Saiyan Saga we've ever put on the Silver Screen. I'm very grateful this movie exist, the edgy grounded realistic Superman that breaks people's necks and destroys cities is an interesting choice, but hey, you gotta rock the boat every once in a while. I respect what an insane direction they went in.
