Geoffrey Fisicaro here. What’s missing at the end with Nimble Momonga attacking, it was equipped with Megamorph. Turn before, I had used Graceful Charity and discarded Magic Cylinder, and set Dimenson Wall. I switched both in my head. So he attacked my Jar with Momonga, I used DWall, which did nothing, and David got all the draws from Jar that he needed to win. Almost 20 years later and my old friends STILL give me shit about “which one of these cards is Cylinder” lol.

“Yugioh players don’t just play for bragging rights” yeah we play for air fryers

Actually, Cyber stein is the name of the scientist. This is Cyber stein's monster

if Cyber-Stein was left in the game after winning it would be guaranteed that Cyber-Stein players would figure out a way to counter Chain-burn, especially with new cards being released

The reason you'd summon Fusionist is so you can use it as material to summon Rare Fish. Now why would you want to summon Rare Fish? No clue

Whats crazy for me is that I first learned about Cyber Stein from the YuGiOh video game when the opponent summoned Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon on the second turn, used megamorph, and attacked for victory. I had no idea there was all this real life issues stemming from this strategy lmao

Please more documentary, this is the best background and legit vedio in the world

You are telling me that the first SJC was on my 8th birthday 30 minutes from where I grew up? Man... I feel bad for freshly 8 year old me, I'd have loved to go and lose.

If you're doing another of these, you absolutely have to talk about the events surrounding the original printing of Exodia in the OCG.

The hyper abridged version is that the legs and arms were all released individually, with the head only being available in an exclusive tournament pack. However, you didn't have to play in it, you just had to show up and wait in line... so they definitely did NOT have enough packs to go around. The outrage led to a full scale riot.  People got arrested, a few were hospitalized, it was madness.

It definitely warrants a video on its own.

Ban was announced mid regionaals tournament. And there went dimension fusion in diamond dude turbo

I remember it like it was yesterday..just before X-Mas, they sent out an e-mail to all judges: "Dear Jugdes, effective immediatly, Cyber-Stein is banned."

imagine the first person who did thousand idol combo, that must be the best feeling in the world, its like being the smartest yugioh player in that era

Damn I was lucky. I had a shop down the street from me. Would go there and play tournaments every Saturday

Great vid! Got to try a cyber-stein OTK myself at regionals right after its wider release

Great video!

Fusionist as the bad fusion monster example?

This is Rare Fish erasure!

Well it’s only called “a children’s card game” in the west because of the joke Little Kuriboh made in his famous Abridged series. Plus we have to remember this is only due to the anime’s censorship by 4Kids and the TCG by Upper Deck.
However, that joke has lost all its relevance because after finding out that the original Japanese version (aka the OCG) is mainly targeted at teenage players (12+) in Japan (which is the true demographic of the series as a whole excluding Rush Duels), people no longer believe that phrase anymore. Plus the original manga and Japanese version anime from season 0 to even Vrains, are all mainly targeted at teenage males due to being a shonen series (for teen boys 12-18). Even the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump has been officially confirmed by various chief editors both past and present to be mainly targeted at teenage boys and for decades since, it has remained the strong focus that they’ve always kept in mind.

I’m glad it supports Magnet Warriors through its effect. Hopefully we get this card in Battles of Legend

Cyber stein could grab King Dragun, last Warrior from another planet, or 4500 koala.
