I didn't realize you could have a horse that just isnt interested in moving. Always something to learn about horses on your channel. Thank you Young family🥰🇨🇦Sharon.

What a beautiful chunk of a horse!  He makes me want to hug him and he is SO quiet.❤  great work Steve!

Starting with a sweet quiet horse isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Some people start with a sensitive and spooky horse. Some of the horse owners that Steve helps dream of this beautiful horse. ❤❤❤ I a tell how much you love this guy and that is always the best foundation.

Laid back is a much more accurate description for this horse than dull. He seems friendly and curious and certainly enjoys galloping. I hope he and his owner find a way forward that they both enjoy. Tanya seems lovely and is obviously motivated to do her best with her horse. I wish them the best.

Is Tommy the only horse there? A playmate could liven him up, yes?

That is a very cute pony. Love how Steve works with all kinds of horses.

I've read these first few comments and think they are good. I was thinking too, that maybe a another horse (friendly) might perk him up. Maybe he's a bit lonely?

my first filly/mare was just like him. She became the best most honest horse ever! He's wonderful! what a wonderful future ahead. much love!

Tommy is the cool hippy dude of the horse world.

Hes going to be a fantastic horse Steve really is the master of training any type of horse, such a quick transformation of Tommy listening and reacting correctly

I love how people make those clicking sounds whenever they’re getting a horse to engage in a specific thing like it’s horse echolocation.❤

I had a baby get his head stuck like Tonya said he did. Also gelded earlier then I usually do because of aggressive behavior. He was very similar. I started him under saddle and he never went like other horses I started. I do deep body /spinal work on horses. I found my horse had major restrictions in gelding scar area and also lower neck and upper neck from getting his head stuck. I did some intensive work on him and he’s now a different horse. Steve you were spot on thinking physical. My horse would have passed a vet check but he had issues no one could see that causes this type behavior.  Just my two cents to consider.
I love your work. ❤️

Things are dire when the best thing you can say about a horse is its colour!   He did manage to redeem himself, and it sounds like he is upping his game now he understands what is expected of him.

What a sweet soul, Tommy is.❤

The still of his silly, sweet face over the gate is just "DERP." LOLOL <3

What a little cutie.  I love him.  Well done.

it's wonderful, honestly, to see the opposite of all the spooky pushy horses, even though I can imagine having such a laid back horse is also a challenge. (as shown in the video)

That stare into the camera from Tommy towards Tanya was priceless.

Love Tommy the Chunky Monkey ! The most laidback horse I’ve ever seen ! Steve , you are the best ❣️

This was a nice change for Steve wasn’t it after all the dangerous aggressive Horses he usually meets. This one made me laugh as Tommy just didn’t see the point in walking anywhere when he was quite happy where he was thank you. You’re doing a great job Steve.. I enjoy your videos a lot. x
