One thing I'll never get tired of is how Dunkey gives it straight. Halo infinite seems like a game that has some serious wins going for it, but then there are some pitfalls that keep it from reaching those heights we wish it could still hit.

Of course dunkey had to take a break. He made the greatest YouTube video of all time after all.

for a direct sequel to Donkey Kong 64, Halo infinite lacks a talking camel.

"Imagine what this game could have been" is pretty much the industry standart right now. good thing shareholders discovered the gaming industry eh?

can't believe dunkey has not missed a single day of donkey kong december!

One of my saddest moments playing through the campaign was destroying all of the grunt propaganda towers. Towards the end, the grunt on the other side said that he’ll be killed if he was “out of a job,” and the next propaganda tower I visited, it was silent. My heart literally sunk.

"Turns out, after killing everyone in the universe who opposed her, she lost to a monkey"

The more I learn about Halo Infinite's development, the more I realize Microsoft/343 has no idea what they're doing.

When you hear they spent 500 mil on it you assume that means they wanted to spare no expense. In reality, they were initially SO cheap, and cut SO MANY corners during development that they eventually had to spend even more money just to salvage the project.

The only reason they didn't just cancel everything when it was clear how much it was going to cost was because they were relying on Halo Infinite to sell the new Xbox.

Halo Infinite really makes you feel like Spider-Man.

The grappling hook is actually one of the best additions to the series.
The grappling hook can literally transform any game for the better if implemented right.

I'm man enough to admit that I cried like a little bitch when John Halo finally opened himself up emotionally and admitted his feelings for Siri, only for Atriox Kong to decapitate her offscreen. I tear up every time I think about her heartwrenching final words: "I'm sorry...... I didn't quite..... get............ that."

I still can't get over the fact that they resolved the absolute entirety of Halo 5's plot setup offscreen. I feel like this got acknowledged way too little in the reaction to Infinite. I mean that's genuinely crazy from a writing perspective. What a mind-bogglingly cowardly decision. I mean hot damn.

To be fair for a game that went through a creative director, a bunch of producers, out sourcing the game to multiple different companies that had completely different directions for the game which contradicted each other and a pandemic all I can say is
“For a brick, he flew pretty good.”

This review is so unbelievably accurate. I just was so infatuated with enjoying the gameplay of a new Halo I've been looking forward to for forever I didn't even realize how crap no cutscenes and no story was.

my favorite donkey kong video so far

Never thought there’d be a game that would actually make me feel ANNOYED when DONKEY KONG calls me.
Way to go Microsoft.

Halo infinite is definitely one of the games ever

Amazing that Dunkey is able to keep this high-quality Donkey Kong content coming all December

When hes not joking around, hes writing extremely well thought out reviews.

I don’t know why but “then donkey Kong calls you 20 times” got me deflating
