Depression and heartbreak can get you to a place where you can’t function or do basics… happy to see that she’s in a cleaner better place and that it helps her mentally ❤

2 lovely women who come from different backgrounds and helped each other in such a lovely gentle way

I think her saying her ex was a 'clean freak' suggests her not keeping up with her flat perhaps could be trauma related

i didn't like how her mother refused to come home to her daughter's messy house and leaving her alone instead of helping her out of her depression. it hurts when loved ones make you feel abandoned

Indeed, this flat was screaming depression.
Happy to see the outcome.

Thank you for helping Shereen. She obviously suffered from depression and didn't have good support to get through it. Hopefully the future will be bright.

Many thanks to Hailey for her compassionate initiative in helping our Muslim sister overcome her depression and for providing her with a home that respects her dignity and needs.
Cleanliness is a great value in our faith; it is an essential part of our daily lives and a fundamental element for practicing our rituals, through the purity of the body, the cleanliness of clothing, and the tidiness of the space around us.

Shereen seemed very lonely and Hailey gave her a lot of motivation and encouragement.

Shereen you are not alone. So many people go through the same thing. It’s especially common to struggle with cleaning after leaving abusive or controlling relationships. I don’t know what your relationship was like but whatever your situation, therapy can be wonderful.

Hayley it seems that you’ve accepted your OCD but it’s a time stealer and from one former OCD’er to another, you can greatly reduce it’s impact.

You both seem so sweet, lovely and deserving of great mental health 🫶

SHAME on the Muslims who are shaming our sister Shereen 😡 As Muslims, we should support our sisters and brothers when they are down, not act like shaytan and make them more desperate 😢 Where is our love? Compassion? Faith? May ALLAH forgive and guide us 🤲

This show teaches more than having a clean home. It teaches love, respect, tolerance and assistance to one another no matter the race, religion, nationality or dress code. This is how many mixed cultures are with one another even if MSMedia shows otherwise. Humanity is truly amazing 😍

Depression doesn’t just whisper—it tries to convince you that the darkness is all there is. But even the longest night ends, and the fact that you’re still here means the light hasn’t given up on you yet. Lovely video :)

Regardless of religion or ethnicity, I've seen so many people from every background struggle with mental health in so many different ways! I hope her the best recovery! Hayley is amazing for that 🤍

Dearest Shareen, I dont know if you'll read this ever but I will pray for you in shaa Allah. You are such a sweet person, and never forget 94:5-6 from The Noble Quran ❤

I used to watch this show and wonder what happened to all these people. Then I became bedbound for years and even though I'm better, I find cleaning torture. Coming from a background of clean, hygiene and organisational extremists, its heartbreaking when you can't keep up. Prayers for everyone struggling and many thanks for people like Hayley that give a helping hand.
