There are a few traditions that almost always pop up in reaction videos...

1. Realizing that JAQK stands for the playing card suits (though some reactors miss this)
Even though you said you were still waking up, you actually caught that pretty quickly =D

2. Saying "Ewwwgh" when seeing Miss America's helmet-with-a-wig in Battle Fever J...
To this day, I've only seen ONE reactor who didn't find it bizarre; she thought it was cute =D

3. Laughing at "Grown Ups in Spandex" =D

4. Figuring out which Super Sentai year it is, based on the Flashman intro, which displays a huge 1986

5. Being impressed by the guy's muscles at the start of the Maskman opening sequence, and then again by the guy floating while sitting down

6. Saying "Owwn" when the little dog on the skateboard appears, and then be impressed by the Lion "zord"
That one never fails, everyone always goes "Owwn" at the puppy

7. Complaining that in all the early Super Sentai shows, the female member is always shown diving into a pool in a swimsuit (you didn't do this one)

8. Noticing that in two opening sequences, the only black people who appear are boxers who get punched in the face and pass out
This is something black reactors notice more often =D

and fun fact about kakuranger, jiraiya "kaku black" was born in LA and he shows it alot in the series by speaking clear english once in a while, not just engrish

52:50 A lot of people outside thinks a lot of "anime" tropes came from anime, but they existed on Japanese theatrics and other media for centuries.

19:43 the dark moments are darker but the silly moments are sillier

The reason there's a dog in the intro of Liveman is because the guy playing Yellow Lion couldn't actually ride a skateboard that well and kept falling off. To make the clip long enough for the intro, they added the dog!

33:38 "Where's the Dragon (Green) Ranger?"
He dies in Zyuranger. not just "power loss", literally dies. XD
As Burai the Dragon Ranger is the first official 6th ranger. there were still experimenting on that role (ignoring X1 Mask from MaskMen who only has 1 episode even though he's a 6th ranger too.)

1:18:26 train is very popular in japan and have super robot anime name brave series that base on japan tranformer toy (takara tomy) + gundam studio anime (sunrise)

JAKQ is initially abbreviation for Jack, Ace, King, and Queen. The Joker suit is for Big One which later appeared.

18:05 You're not wrong, up until that point they only had one girl on a team, except for Sun Vulcan (the team with only three rangers) which had all guys. Ironically, the opening you were in the middle of watching, Bioman, was the first team to have two girls.

37:05 This is it! This is exactly what I was waiting for in this reaction!
This kind of reaction, discovering where the Power Rangers versions came from! \o/ \o/ \o/

So the once that got adapted on power rangers are on the list:
-Zyuranger(Mighty Morphin)
-Kakuranger(Alien Ranger)
-Ohranger(Zeo)
-Megaranger(In space)
-Carranger(Turbo)
-Gingaman(Lost Galaxy)
-GogoV(Lightspeed)
-Gaoranger(Wild Force)
-Timeranger(Time Force)
-Hurricanger(Ninja Storm)
-Abaranger(Dinothunder)
-Dekaranger(SPD)
-Magiranger(Mystic Force)
-Boukenger(Operation Overdrive)
-Gekiranger(Jungle Fury)
-Go-onger(RPM)
-Shinkenger(Samurai)
-Goseiger(Megaforce)
-Gokaiger(Super Megafore)
-Go Busters(Beast Morphers)
-Kyoryujer(Dinocharge)
-Ryusoulger(Dino Fury)

1:05:40 oh they adapted it (RPM), they just didn't follow theme that much. They did sprinkle a few references to Go-Onger here and there

Fun fact: Time Fire of the Time Rangers has his own theme song, and it's fire.

1:05:38 Go-Onger was adapted into Power Rangers RPM

So Kyoryuger did have another ranger that was briefly shown in the intro, the cyan ranger (aqua ranger in the PR adaptian) who, I believe, was the first and only sentai ranger to be played by a caucasian man named Rober Baldwin, who had dual Canadian-Japanese citizenship. Sadly he passed away in 2024 from colon cancer.

27:53 ooo fun thing with this

Gokaiger (the 35th anniversary season, what then became unfortunately super megaforce) references the weird thing with how our turbo and sentai are different; during the turboranger episode, the ranger they had come back for the episode told the gokaiger’s to “become the turborangers”.
Then they changed into Caranger… our turbo. And then told they mixed it up.

01:26:08 Lupinranger and Patranger rarely join forces 100%, only occasionally during the middle and near the end of the season. The main antagonist is Gangler, the interdimension mafia gang who stole Lupin Collection that belongs to Arsene Lupin, the Lupinranger has to retrieve them all in order to gain their personal wishes, while the Patranger aims to take down Gangler and capture Lupinranger for causing trouble in the public. They have one common enemy, but they are always against each other 90% of the time till the end of the series

26:51 its because on the sentai version, their bike had "zyuranger" name labeled on the bike

1:05:39 No, Go-Onger WAS adapted, as "Power Rangers RPM"

You probably don't recognize it because RPM went WAYYYYY off of Go-Onger's more light-hearted premise
