*THE FASTEST CX RACE YET?! | Prospect Park CX 2026 🚴‍♂️💨*

Round 3 of the *Wessex Cyclocross League* takes us to Prospect Park in Reading — and this one was FAST!

After a strong training block as part of **Project CX Podium**, it was time to see whether the fitness was starting to translate into racing.

Prospect Park delivered a **super dry, hilly and seriously fast cyclocross course**, with very little opportunity to recover. The pace was relentless from the start, and with a really strong field on the start line, there was absolutely no room for an easy day!

I managed to put out **some of my best numbers in a long time**, but despite riding hard and feeling like I was having a strong race, I came away with **9th place**.
