When I was 12 and Warriors theme song hit, that heavy metal and a long haired metal guy running to the stage and flipping out I thought Wow this is SO COOL

The Ultimate Warrior was one of the best characters when you were a 8 year old kid, and it was a big disappointment when he was gone.. When he was champ, I remember they built up to this big, excellent program with Jake The Snake, then it just disappeared. We were excited when he returned, but then he disappears as fast as he arrives.

I was around 10 years old watching WWF as a kid and Warrior was the only one I cared about. Gimmick, colour, charisma and he-man like vibe. I didn’t give a shit about him doing 15 clotheslines. He was great.

As a child/teenager in the 80’s, Warrior was incredible, he felt so much more modern than Hogan, he really did feel like the future.
Like Hawk, Sid, Rude, Bagwell, Steiner, Luger. When you’re on the gas and pushing it, it’s likely you’ll be grumpy, stressed, angry and hard to deal with.
In later years we had Benoit, Eddie, Hunter. It’s rare that a super roided guy’s a nice person.

Warrior gave WWF/WWE so many new fans and put money to the WWE universe. And still 10+years after his death, people STILL shitting on him.
Hell has a special place for all the haters, thats for sure.
Let the guy rest in peace and be grateful for the impact he had in the business.

Usual biased content, Vince ALWAYS wanted to bring the Warrior back, in 1992, then again in 1995 yet it did take until 1996, then finally made yet another attempt in late 1997.

One thing that always got me has been this belief that no one could understand the Warrior's promo's.

Even when I was just a 12 year old kid back in 1987, I had no problem understanding anything he was saying. Sure his promo's were basically just him shouting most of the time, but its not like he was speaking gibberish. It was still English and easy to understand.
