you’re so charismatic that the characters seem so much more interesting than they are

Im OBSESSED with book breakdowns like this. Eating this up like im STARVED

I cannot stand the trope of hurting someone “for their benefit”. It’s so gross. She should’ve never spoken to him again.

Honestly, why didn't Charlie start investigating Edward for domestic violence?? If I were Bella's parent, and she 1) came home after her "first date" with Edward so hysterical that she was going to leave town in the middle of the night, then 2) "fell down two flights of stairs" after Edward went to talk to her to "smooth things over after their breakup"--honestly, at that point I would be almost certain that Edward was guilty of assault and battery, especially if I were a police officer. Add that to the fact that 3) she goes to a birthday party for her at his house and comes back with stitches...if I were her father, I would be trying to look into investigating the Cullens *for sure." And how do they have social security numbers and all that, anyway? If Charlie started looking, things would probably start looking real sketchy real quick

Twilight from Charlie’s POV would be pure comedy 😭😭😭

the idea of edward stealing everything that reminds bella of him is so funny to me

Well, it's a lot less weird that Jacob has the same name as her brother, now. He wasn't a love interest, so this knowledge pleases me 😂

every time I re-engage with this series I’m like holy fuck, Bella put Charlie through the absolute WRINGER lol what on earth! this poor man

I really think the worst part of New Moon is how Bella reacts to Edward coming back, while he's saying he's sorry, how she just... Ignores the pain he caused her. She should have tortured him a bit longer.
Then again, to be sincere, the attachment she has over him is not healthy at all xD

Imagine someone forcing you to celebrate Your birthday for them, the worst case scenario happening after you make it clear you never wanted to, and then being More Than right that it was a horrible idea, especially after they abandon you over the situation

Twilight is simultaneously the worst and most interesting series ever. It’s laughable how horrible these books and movies are but I still read and watch them

I'm so glad the algorithm brought your channel to me.

Imagine reading Romeo and Juliet, a story about the impulsivity of teenage (shallow) overnight love, where the literal children decide death is better, written by the most sarcastic, mean and sassy writer and thinking: Yes, this sounds like a legit love story, that everyone should look up to.
And Meyer, a humble English teacher, thought: Yes, let's write an entire book based on R&J without irony. This is a legit love story after all.

Media literacy? What is that?

These books are actually interesting. Characters behave so much more like teenagers. I feel like movies took themselves so seriously, but it would have been so much better. I imagine the characters so much younger and different looking
And I love your delivery 🧛‍♀️

If this was where the series ended I probably would’ve been on Jacob’s side I can’t even lie

I love this so much. Being an adult gets hard and being able to escape fully into twilight like this?  Perfect! I love it.  Woo hoo! Long form content for the win!!

Book Aro is more morale and less violent than Movie Aro, but Caius is perfectly depicted in the movie as the book-bro have beef with everyone 😂

I would have loved if, in Italy, the Volturi would have refused to let them go unless they changed Bella right then and there. Either they are all killed, or Edward changes her there and they wait the three days and then go. And then once she is changed we get a third book about the awesome adventures they have, the go after Victoria so she doesnt kill Charlie or Renee etc, Jacob is sad but remains her friend and he falls in love with someone awesome and it all works out there, we could know more about how she deals with Charlie and Renee after she turns, and they dont have a child they barely care for, and Jacob doesnt imprint on a baby. That would have been awesome.

Amazing video, even though New Moon was my least favorite, I love that you thread in the movie, show, and blogs that you researched, really well done and I’m excited for Eclipse!

Girl you don’t know how much I appreciate this rn 😭
