We’re in Raleigh, North Carolina, for a look inside the home of artist and potter Caroline Boykin.

For more extraordinary home tours, visit our website: https://homeworthy.com/

This 1960s house needed a lot of love, but Caroline fell for its soul—and transformed it while keeping its original charm. Soft neutrals let her antiques, family heirlooms, and layered artwork shine, reflecting her feminine, classic, and cozy style. And we’ll even step inside her studio, where her creativity comes alive in every detail.

My favorite thing she said was “My home is filled with old things”. How I love this! So many young women fall victim to fashion and trends and never develop a style that is their own (and I have some of those young women in my own family!). Bravo! Your home is wonderful and, yes, it is a warm hug. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I love a beatiful traditional home like this one. So glad you didn't tear it down. New homes don't have the character, features, and built-ins like your home. It's refreshing to see you don't have a lot of clutter. I love the staircase, powder room, main bathroom, bulldog art...I could go on.

Fantastic home and artist. Listening to her story and voice is like the warm hug - she creates the warmth. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, art and a glimpse into your lovely life.

Absolutely beautiful, I love this home. The lady of the home is gracious and artistic. She should be proud of her home and talent.

Such a beautiful collected home with such a lovely homeowner to share it with us. She definitely has the soul of an artist. She shares her whole home with the works of so many artists. I love that she said both She and her husband love to buy antique pieces. Thank you for this wonderful tour.😊

Loved this! And the homeowner was fantastic….her smile and voice reminded me of Renee Zellweger, one of my favorite actresses! 🥰

Fellow Raleigh-girl here and love your home, plus love that you did NOT tear it down and kept the character! I hate what is being done to some homes. Yours is charming and beautiful!

Yes yes…. This would be one of my favorite Homeworthy homes! The neutral colors and it’s not cluttered with too much stuff! Very tasteful! Love it

I absolutely love your decorating style. The way you pair treasures and create symmetry throughout your home gives everything such balance and beauty. As a Libra, I’m especially attracted to that kind of harmony — your home feels so peaceful and thoughtfully curated.

What a lovely homeowner! I really enjoyed this tour, as she kept a lot of the original parts of the home, but gave it a fresh look! Thank you homeworthy for another great home!

I love your bathroom, with its green, floral, wallpaper. The, ornately, carved fireplace is darling, too. The dog picture, I am sure reflects what is near and dear to your heart.
My God reward the spirit you show and reflect in your home.

Beautiful and soothing, relaxing home. I especially liked the kitchen with the brick area. The fabric on the stools in the sitting room was so pretty! The screen porch and the back yard are so lovely.
