Homeworthy Host Ruth McKeaney brings us inside the beautifully reimagined Atlanta home of Julie Keeter, where timeless English country style meets gracious Southern living.

Originally built in the early 2000s in a Mediterranean style, the home took on new meaning after the unexpected loss of Julie's husband, Jim. As she began a new chapter, Julie thoughtfully transformed the house into a warm, welcoming retreat inspired by the English countryside.

Throughout the home, custom wallpapers, lacquered cabinetry, and a palette of soft pastels create an elegant, feminine atmosphere.

Join Homeworthy host Ruth McKeaney as Julie shares the deeply personal story behind her home's evolution and how creating beautiful spaces became part of her healing journey.

Then, head into the kitchen as author, speaker, and Never Alone Widows founder Rachel Faulkner Brown joins Ruth to prepare a menu of quintessential Southern dishes, celebrating friendship, resilience, and the joy of gathering around the table.

So wonderful that their husbands left them in a position of comfort for the rest of their lives. I know that was a huge relief and a true blessing for the entire family. Very very few of us are so fortunate to be able to have such a luxurious home worth tens of millions and go millions more to renovate it, so it was very gracious of her to let us visit for a bit. She’s done an excellent job with the entire project…..and kudos to you for figuring out how to host a mosquito free luncheon on a pond! Everything was absolutely perfect. You should be extremely proud…. I know I would be!!

GOD BLESS

I came to see the home decor. I was astounded to find women of faith, true believers of the goodness of God. At the center of this episode was true southern faith and I loved it. Literally brought me to tears.

Homeworthy, If the owner would allow (and if she's in this home for the holidays) it would be beautiful to see it at Christmas. I just have a feeling it's pretty spectacular.

It is refreshing to see a wealthy person appreciate and enjoy their home and property as this woman does.

I love how women change their lifestyle and home after they no longer have a spouse in their lives! They finally get to live the way they want to. Beautiful home!

PLEASE, Homeworthy, return to this beautiful home so we can see every square inch of this spectacular property and revisit the lovely homeowner. She exudes exquisite style, but mostly, Love and Grace. mary b

To all the women and men feeling called to create a home you don’t need to escape from…this is an example to keep going!!! There are people leading the way and willing to share…so WE know we are in good company. This home will be my reminder that there is MAGIC in home making!!! Stunning 🤩

Over the past few years I’ve watched hundreds of home tours online (retired with health issues, so have had the time and thanked God for the distraction) but never one this spectacular. Not only is the home just absolutely gorgeous, but even more than that it is obvious that Julie’s top priority is to fill it with the love and grace of God, and use it all to His Glory. A woman after my own heart, as I used to love and be able to do the same (only in much less luxury). And what a bonus to bring the four friends together in fellowship after the tour, again giving God the Glory. A true testament and witness to what Godly friendships are meant to be and how important they are. Thank you, Ruth, for this beautiful home tour. Amen and Amen.

I love her dining room. When I put hardwood floors through my house that are hickory I knew I couldn’t put them in the dining room. And I couldn’t put hardwood floors and an expensive rug. So I put off white carpet in. People thought I was crazy. But I wanted my beautiful furniture to show up. Everything is from my mom, mother in law or grandmother. All beautiful pieces that work together. I had floral drapes made. We have a matching chandelier in the foyer that matches the dining room chandelier. Then a huge gold mirror 5 foot tall that we hung vertically. Hand painted China chop plates that my grandmother painted flank the mirror. It’s a beautiful room. A hutch of hand painted China and one full of antique cut crystal. The carpet is heaven walking on it. I don’t have a mansion but a beautiful custom home built in 80.
Her house is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Imagine living bing there!

This was a very touching homeworthy and as a Christian woman myself I really loved these women speaking about the things that they’ve been through and their faith and how they have overcome.

The prettiest house of the series hands down. Lovely complete balanced colors and elements with no clutter and just so pretty. Among all cluttered maximalist interiors, and empty minimalist ones it's so nice to see this type of house. Very pleasant owner, what an attractive warm lady.

❤ My My My…this home is absolutely stunning. When a woman puts her soul into a home, no matter the size, you know there will be blessings inside! Attention to detail is unmatched! You CAN NOT put this much beauty and passion into a home and not intend on being in community with the ones you love. 💕

Wow what a lovely grande dame and hostess. It is a beautiful outstanding property done with love, style, class. My dream is to one day soon sell our starter home of 55 years and have a nice English Regency home or an American Center Hall home with most of the home dedicated to my loving mother which is 83 years young and has worked so hard all of her life and gone through poverty and so much adversity that I just shower her with love and now I am her caregiver. So glad to have her alive after a horrific fall from our basement stairs May of 2025. God is great.

I love, love, LOVE this episode. First, I want to say how nice it was to see the women and their Christian Faith shine through. Thank You for giving the homeowner the time to share scripture and to talk about the Ministry she holds dear. Even the blessing around the table made my heart happy. So many shows would have cut all those details out of the story. This home owner is a woman after my own heart ❤. Southern hospitality at its finest and beautiful taste. Excellent episode! I’m saving it for future reference.
