i think niall lives in a much more pleasant universe than the rest of us tbh idk… he’s in a simpler existence that is only vibes

@alphabetsoup22 3 years ago

Yeah Niall has literally talked about how he likes Harry's music a lot because they have similar tastes and influences, so it makes sense that there would be some vibe similarities every now and then

I will listen to Niall forever purely because his voice makes me feel like comfy and safe... idk its like dad vibes he just calms me

this album is mostly such a “feel good” happy lil album which i think is why i love it, especially since it’s summer

sometimes i forget that people who arent as deep in the fandom dont realise how some of the songs are just iconic just because and they hear the songs differently

idk i think his past albums prove he is a good songwriter, this one is just a silly little love album 🤭🤷🏽‍♀️

i hate when people say that nialls music is too much like harry’s.
Like people would NEVER say that harry’s music sounds like nialls, and the chat saying “too much 80’s” is insane considering they’d never say that about harry’s. They are both from the same band so of course they will forever have a tad bit of the same sound, they’re also both pop singers. I think people need to seperate them, and appreciate both their songs without saying that science & matilda are the same but matilda betters. It’s insane.
I personally loved this album and think it’s going to be one of the only good ones to come out of 2023.

To understand his songwriting you really have to know him. The vocals are on point on this album and he is getting better and more creative in his work. The production is also very good and is really representing nialls universe.

A lot of his songs were inspired by mental health struggles and anxiety and stuff like that. Meltdown was a message to the fans because he knows we all have our own struggles and he’s been like our go to for music to calm us. Stuff like that. Same with The Show. And then of course, love songs :)

i think the show is similar to lover. it might not have the strongest songwriting, but it’s suppose sound & feel like a fun/lovey-dovey album

“Even if we go up in flames, heaven will never be the same” - even if we break up, don’t work out his view of heaven is forever changed because of her

the show & science are two of my favorites on this album. imo though Heartbreak Weather is still his best album but this one i think is cute for his boyfriend lover era lol

by the way I think the reason why his songs are sounding a little bit like how some songs used to sound of One Direction is because he is still writing with people who wrote One Direction songs a lot (Julian Bunetta specifically)

i honestly don’t see or hear it sounding like harry’s music. they definitely do have the most similar like interests and area of sound they went to, but it doesn’t sound like by the same person. they both have separate and good qualities about each of their music, harrys is a bit more theatrical imo vs niall’s being more natural. the only song i see being similar to harry’s is save my life. i love both artists to death and i love this new album. in my opinion it’s a no skip album

@urrockstargf111 3 years ago

i honestly dont think that harry and nialls music sounds similar they just have similar influences from similar times like 60s-80s music
niall even said he might experiment w rock like led zeppelin etc
personally i love this album sm

heaven has always felt like the male side of a taylor swift song to me. she's constantly talking about love being a match or a fragile flame. Niall saying "we could go down in flames and heaven would never be the same" also makes me think of two lovers deeply in the thick of this love but if its snuffed out and he makes it to heaven and doesn't have a soulmate anymore, then what's the point of forever?

I love Niall fans! Fans of others get jealous of their significant other and that can lead to saying not nice things. But I only see love for Amelia, everyone thinks she's great. Even people who are a little jealous are so lovely about her (as they should be!). It's so lovely and refreshing to see.
