He wrote the whole thing- MATILDA- he wrote the music the lyrics to the whole musical !!

“Take a break from giving babies malaria” goes so hard

I gotta praise you guys for loving the humour even though it may be against your beliefs.

'Take a break from giving babies malaria and pop down to your local area' ...you could analyse just that one sentence for days, it's that good.

The argument is:-
If God is "all powerful" he's a f*cking evil sadist, justified by truly desperate people who will perform insane logical gymnastics to desperately try to defend / explain the worst horrors being allowed to exist and perpetuate.

“Science adjusts its views based on what’s observed
Faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved”
- Tim Minchin from Storm (watch his live version of Storm)
You’ll have a ball discovering the genius of Tim Minchin.

White wine in the sun is one of the best Xmas songs ever written

Tim Minchin is a true creative genius and one of Australia’s great modern exports!!

Imagine being Sam and seeing this.  The orchestra, the full concert hall, the lighting, all dunking on you in the biggest way possible.

Tim is brutal & brilliant.

Tim wrote EVERYTHING. The man is an utter genius

Tim is one of the best writers of our generation, hands down.

And yes he did write it, idk what song your talking about but he wrote for the entire musical.

We have some of the most creative, original and raw artists in the world down under 😏

Master of sarcasm

No one has ever been roasted as hard as Sam.
His vocabulary is as impressive as his piano playing. Minchin is a genius

Tim wrote the music AND lyrics of Matilda The Musical and also Groundhog Day, the Musical, which I also love.

I'm pretty sure Sam would be a fictional composite of various real people similar to that.

It's the longest "your mum" joke ever.  lolol

"I thank god he made me an atheist." - Ricky Gervais

I don't think Tim is trying to convince anyone of anything but one simple thing: don't use stupid arguments to justify your beliefs

Tim is a legend and has a massive amount of songs worth checking out.
He recently did a song for the 50th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House which is just amazing called 'Play it Safe' - his best sarcasm filmed in the most brilliant video.
Also I love
'Not perfect' just wonderfully sweet and of course 'White Wine in the Sun' for Christmas.
And then there's his straight none jokey songs which are also incredible.
Plus of course his musicals 'Matilda' & 'Groundhog Day'
