When watching the games he felt inevitable and incredibly sharp. The timings are on point. Never had so much fun watching a player.

The Japan hate is pretty played out. He's top 5 in scoring, attacking, digging, and top 15 in receiving and blocking (absurd at his height) while also being one of the 2 best servers and clearly the best player on the only undefeated team. I've always thought he was a little overrated, but he's played out of his mind the entire year. Give credit where it's due.

Ran has been steadily improving since he debuted in 2020 - given that Japan is 12-0and he’s been so solid

Could be. He slays lots of the categories.🎉

He’s been top blocker for his team in so many matches I’ve watched so far, still working my way through. He’s up there with the liberos for digs/passes. He’s way up there in attacking and serving. Nobody is proving their status as a complete player like he is. I think the only thing he’s not getting is high setting stats, but it’s not like Japan relies heavily on their other players to set very often!

I would really love a Japan, Poland rematch.

One team's on a generational run rn going undefeated, and the other just locked tf in and brought out the rest of their all-star roster.

Best chance is for him to win it this finals.

Ran is also top 20 in blocks

True, putting Ran in the thumbnail helps

I really could care or less of these statistics but without doubt he is one of the most
outstanding players of all teams for sure.
He's so good at everything that has to do with VB. reception, tossing, even setting
and of course attacks, all this despite not being very tall or big in the whole league.
I have been his fan from his high school days and he keeps on improving and proving
how valuable he is in whatever team he plays.

The answer is yes I think

The version of me who was leaving the volleyball fandom (whatever you called it lmao) 4 years ago won’t believe that it will come to this point on your channel 😂

I think it's either him or Nikolov, but because Japan are 12-0 and Bulgaria didn't even make finals, its more reasonable for Ran to be MVP.

5:48 i wish that they invested more into a sophisticated statistics system where you can see everything in more detail, more clearly.

It feels like 2016 curry with ran leading his team to the best regular season nikolov probably being the most impactful player being LeBron

It’ll be interesting to see if the USA can bounce back losing 3 of their past 4 games is rough and sets them up for what could be a championship quarterfinal vs Italy. Jake Haynes has been insane hopefully Matt & TJ turn it up.

11:36 ye we all know 🤣🤣✌️ but can like you can you like please um explain for the people that don’t know ._.

Lol being objective ? ...more like RAN proved that he is worthy too...even though he is Asian or from Japan , and you got no choice but to swallow your pride , or u are using this to redeem yourself for the past bias comments or unfavourable comments. Doesn't matter....RAN proved it.

I agree that Ran at times is being overrated by fans, but this has been his best VNL performance by far... give credit when it's due.

Forgive my ignorance, but isnt the MVP selected from the winning team
