MERCH! :: SATHER'S ARCADE :: jacksather.com

Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of my favorite games of all time. I enjoyed their online a ton, but also feel like they're falling short on countless areas. Why can't I wear a poncho and a bandana at the same time!!! Train robberies missing, bank heists missing, too much of the world remains empty and we gotta have more Rockstar!

Thanks for watching y'all, make sure to like and subscribe, hit the notification bell? Does that really matter? idk... but thank you!

Hey guys! I’m seeing a lot of people asking about the music I used in the video.

End song:
Isobelle Walton - “Autumn Glow”
She has another song in there “Silence is the Key”. Found her on Epidemic Sound, fantastic artist.

During the bounty hunter section is a live version of the GOAT Jose Gonzalez’s “Far Away”. (Featured in Red Dead Redemption 1)

Thank you to everyone watching! The exposure on this video and to my channel is truly overwhelming ❤️🙏🏻

Imagine getting a western-themed online game and you can't even rob banks nor trains.

@frostsoul4199 3 years ago

i find it kinda hilarious really how in a game about outlaws and gunslingers, the online portion is spent behaving like the sorts of the people those bandits would rob.

I literally took a week and a half off, stocked up on baked beans, bread, cheese and random time accurate goodies, Whiskey, Kentucky Bourbon and legitimately played in a cowboy hat until the credits rolled. Best gaming experience I've ever had.

@TheNewfoundRepublic 3 years ago

The fact that you can't rob banks is the single most mind-numbing thing you can't do in the game.

I remember reading an article about 3 years ago about how Rockstar's CEO was replaced with a former casino executive who was in charge of making slot machines more addictive and I instantly understood why Red Dead and GTA Online were so terrible.

It’s painfully obvious that red dead online has been incredibly neglected in favor of the cash cow that gta has been and it’s sad to see such a beautiful and interesting world full of potential be abandoned like that just because the micro transaction value is low.

The greatest pain I felt was when Jack just randomly thought out amazing cool ideas R* could add in the game.
Like, it's not even that bloody difficult to add cool content to the game. All it needs is care

3 years later, nothing has changed and we get the "undead nightmare" update strange tales of the west with like 4 missions that are not fun at all and hard as shit, nothing about the economy has changed, bandits still only give 4 cents, and nothing added to new Austin, why rockstar

@damian5125 4 years ago

Really sucks knowing that Rockstar is just abandoning the game

@IBradFrazer 4 years ago

The economy is specifically designed to be like this. Rockstar doesn't want you to earn money/gold via gameplay, they want you to buy it with real money. The game obviously has massive potential but Rockstar just doesn't care. They want the most amount of money for as little work as possible.

@hyphan-gaming 4 years ago

it’s actually crazy that Rockstar refuses to properly address the lack of support on such a great game

the last major update to this game was 6 years ago lmao, let that sink in.

My god, I played this with my father and his online friends for hundreds of hours, we had a posse called the Regulators, we Bounty Hunted and helped people out for the most part, most importantly we all wore the same badass outfit… rest in peace Dad…

This video may say it's ruined... But now it's literally in a state where nothing can bring it back to being good... BECAUSE ITS BEING DISCONTINUED

@blackoutlol2857 4 years ago (edited)

I will still never wrap my head around how rockstar can make such amazing single player story games like gta v and rdr2 before completely neglecting the story and focusing all of their efforts into making a crappy half assed online mode that cares more about making money and wasting time than being even remotely good despite having a dedicated community of people who want it to succeed and even suggestions to make it better.

@sgtboom7 1 year ago

As someone who wouldn't play online even if it was perfect I'm just upset RDO gets some badass looking clothing/customization options that single player just doesn't have. I don't see why the clothing couldn't have been ported to single player in a free update or something.

Excellent video! Great job man, the pacing was so good I didn't even realize I had been watching for over 20 minutes. Keep it up!

@G0thBug 4 years ago

It’s sad because we all know what their doing. They made a well liked, beautiful, and fun game only to ditch it. Why? Because it’s basically a back up plan. Once they can’t beat GTA for any more money, they’ll start to care about Red Dead. But only to add pay to win features. Rockstar is known for beating cash cows to DEATH.

The health and stamina bar actually create more of a survival feeling, having the need for hunting and cooking better food at your camp. Red dead 2 has the potential for an amazing comeback, to get rockstar games to give it another chance.
