"You're going to need a bigger goat."

😂😂😂

That Jon Williams score alway hits so hard. Freaking masterpiece.

Nedry wiping the shaving cream off on the pie is a film making in joke. That particular brand of shaving cream was often used as a practical effect for whipped cream because it wouldn't melt between takes like real dairy cream would.

We are all Jake. I nerd out the same my dude.

I saw this at the drive-in 29 years ago. It was the first time dinosaurs ever looked real in a movie.

THAT is Richard Attenborough... Sir David Attenborough's brother.

He slightly altered John Hammond's character to be a bit more based on his Brother (David)... Who when young, was so preoccupied in the showing the world animals that he did not realise he was being reckless... which fit's nicely with the phrase used... "They were so preoccupied with whether they could, They did not stop to think if they should".

Raggedy Pack, welcome to Jurassic Park.

Made around the dawn of cgi and still looks phenomenal today

This is one of the great movies that were of a generation that blew the minds of everyone who saw it. My brother and I were really young when we saw this in theaters. The sound in the theater was incredibly intense. You could feel the vibrations running through your body. One of the best bits was that goat leg hitting the jeep roof in theaters because it was so deathly silent right before as she wondered where it was, and everyone was craning forward, and then when that loud thud hit, literally 150 people jumped out of their seats screaming! It was flipping awesome!! I forget sometimes just how old this movie is now, but even by modern standards, it still holds up.

One of these movies has the guiness world record for biggest animatronic ever built for a movie

I've seen a dozen people on here make fun of the "locking mechanisms on the vehicle doors" thing but NO ONE ever brings up that having electronic locks that can only be accessed from the central control would be extremely dangerous in the event of a fire or other danger.

Rexy roaring while the banner falls “when dinosaurs ruled the earth.” Chills

The "don't you mean extinct" line actually came from one of the practical FX guys after they saw the digital t-rex.

How you don’t see all Spielberg classics is beyond me

Jake looks like one of the 2017 vines kid that talks about dinosaurs 24/7

Fun Fact:  The movie isn't really based on the book, so much as it's an alternate version altogether.  Development of the movie began early on in Crichton's writing process.  Spielberg and Crichton were friends, which allowed Spielberg to get movie rights and start production while the novel was still being written.

I dont believe people havent watched this movie

Jurassic park is a perfect piece of work to explain SHOWING and not telling

Stephen Spielberg asked the production designers to make the gates of Jurassic Park look like the main gate in the 1933 film King Kong.
