“Orpik just shot Sid in the face” is an insane quote out of context and it made me giggle pretty hard.

I'm an Isles fan but respect the hell out of Sid. Knowing his concussion history what Trouba did a few years ago in the playoffs was atrocious. It also changed the series 180 degrees.

It took me until 1:08:40 to realize who "Mark" was. In my brain, "MarcAndreFleury" is a single word.

Imagine if the Penguins drafted Filip Forsberg instead of Pouliot? Wowzers.

Ah yes Pens Flyers 2012 first round playoff series otherwise known as the playoff series from hell

this was such a fun era to grow up  watching hockey.

The Ray Shero quote about not wanting Jagr because "I'm not from Pittsburgh" reads as much funnier when you remember where he was from.

(Hint: has dad was the coach of the  Flyers for nearly a decade)

You’re actually not a hater imo tbh frfr

shoutout to josh. i like how you incorporated an interview into these. makes for lots of entertainment and insights

Yeah, this is the timeframe that hurts the Fleury = HOF argument the most. He forgot what his glove hand was between roughly 2011 and 2014. It's pretty much the reason the 2011-12 Pens didn't go deeper. New Jersey was hungry that year and found many, many ways to score but I still think the Penguins beat them in 7 if they were in the Rangers' place. Also, Shero should have been canned after the Jagr debacle. And Bylsma was a lot worse than I remember. Paul Martin was literally the perfect defensive partner for Kris Letang. A less defensively pourous version of Mark Eaton, Letang's partner for the 2009 Cup. So Bylsma puts everyone *EXCEPT* Martin with Letang.

ray shero not wanting Jagr is so funny, explains so much

That 2012 series was some of the wildest games I've ever witnessed! Just recently I've watched that series and miss that kind of playoff hockey

As a goalie, I can say a lot of those goals against Fleury in 2012 aren’t fully on him but there does come a point where you really need to make at least one or two robberies in the postseason

This video was so well put together. Yohe interview was an amazing addition to this video. Guy knows what he’s talking about he’s been around the team forever. Great video man

I’m a lifelong DC resident, caps fan and season ticket holder. Those early 10s caps pens matchups were so electric. This is such a great docuseries!

Love the new mic, boss :D

So happy someone is making NHL videos like this, thank you so much!

I’ve lived in Pittsburgh for my entire 25 years of living. And not one time has anyone had the knowledge, the ability to articulate, and the love for the Penguins you’ve shown with these vids. I’m here from part one about midway through part two. This is nice as the hour long doc the Pens official channel dropped. Thank you man, and Let’s Go Pens 😮‍💨🐧

15:32 less crazy when we realize the pick that went with Gaustad became Jusse Saros

HE FINALLY GOT A BETTER MIC
