Worth noting that Daniel and Kramnik had about 10-15~ seconds left on the clock in that position, and it was streamed from Daniel's PoV. You can see a smirk appear on Daniel's face when he sees the tactical pattern during Kramnik's move (why would Daniel smirk during his opponent's turn if he's waiting for an engine to output the tactic...). The whole time his eyes were relentlessly darting the chess board, and it's obvious he was completely locked-in to finding patterns on the board long before the actual opportunity came up. Once you notice that the bishop is the only thing preventing the fork, the rest is obvious.

Anyway, waste of words. Daniel had an unrivaled passion for the game of chess, not just winning for the sake of winning. May he rest in peace...

Kramnik is an odious piece of work. There are a few games where hikaru trolls him. They would be good to see too.

Nice analysis.  Not sure if it's true or not but another site said kramnik didn't realize that the game had started and lost 1:38 off his game clock before his first move.  Carlson then waited 1:38 in a pre-troll move to move his H pawn.  Then Magnus made all of his moves in about 1 second each.  That's at least a trolling^5 power.  

Btw.  It took me about 5 seconds to see the Danial N move.  And I'm not a grandmaster

The more Kramnik is humiliated, the better.

The move Danya made is so reasonable that even I - somebody who doesn’t even know opening strategies - found it immediately! It opens the board to black beautifully and logically!

You know what would be a fair punishment for Kramnik? Only being allowed to play Carlsen. God, I’d love that.
