This young bloke guiding the tour is a g. Super outgoing well spoken, fucken champion. Props

When that chick walked up from behind u but u didn’t know she was coming…..like I was watching a horror movie.

Absolutely the most impactful hood walk yet... Speechless how devastatingly hopeless those areas are... The boys guiding him were really articulate & informative 👌 Powerful episode

That young guy leading you around with his crew is clued up to the max, really on to it guide explaining so many points of everything he knows and experienced. They all did such a great job in this episode sharing the stories of horrific life loss and so much of it is just unbelievable but really, sad. Subscribed!

The way the local boys explain the alcohol bans and police cameras so flippantly because they expect him to know what those are as it’s so normal to them is wild. I’ve lived in Aus my whole life and didn’t know NT was like this!! 😢

Bro as someone that lives in Karama and sees the sort of stuff these guys described regularly, I’m really glad you’re doing these vids and showing the rest of the country what it’s like up here. Most of the country don’t mean any harm by what they say, but more often than not the issues here are constantly downplayed. Unless you’ve been up here and seen things like you have with these lads and heard the stories, you can’t truly understand what it’s like. Hopefully your videos help bring some light to the rest of the country and hopefully whatever help that is needed to get this place back on track can be given. It really hit me when you said a gypsy ghetto in Bulgaria is civilised compared to Darwin.

"There is something way, way deeper wrong with this place, than goes by the description of a hood"... yeah this was a lot to take in!

Mate its actually so great that you're out here listening to people. Not just asking them to tell the most fucked up stories but just listening to what theyre living through.

Say what you want about Spanian and his past but hes a hell of a journalist, and a hell of a presenter. Humble and honest. Brilliant work as usual

I flew into darwin in 2013 and within an hour of being there some a group of kids had a massive knife/machete fight and the cops sat there and watched these 20+ kids chase each other screaming and one kid was hacked into with a machete to the point his hand was dangling off, then the darwin tourist bus pulled up, a nice welcome to darwin

Them saying, back when I was growing up here and they are from 16-22years old😂😂😂

Real Journalism.Great work, Spanian. You're doing really important work. You connect with the communities like many others cannot, and get their stories unfiltered. Credit to these well spoken young men for their insight and articulation. Keep doing this, Spanian. Mad Respect.

Watching that woman slowly sneaking up behind you, was like watching a swimmer in the ocean not knowing a shark is coming.
I was going "Turn around or start walking!" But she got you.
Then her non english speaking sidekick just popped up out of nowhere! 😱🤣

Such a sad situation up there.

I’m glad they highlighted how terrible DFV is in the NT.  Very sad.  Women and girls are murdered all the time up there and we don’t hear about it .

15:56 got hit in the head with a machete in that park they walked past trying to stop a someone getting bashed. Fractured my skull needed 16 staples to stitch me up. Almost lost my life. People who live here don’t think it’s as bad as it is but then again I feel like you get desensitised to your environment. Was good to see an outsider react to your area and see it from a different perspective. Lot of respect for you Spanian keep doing ya thing 🙏🏽

The guy in blue is well spoken and knowledgeable. He has the ability to really make something of himself and I wish him luck

This bloke deserves a sit down chat on your podcast.
He's got the knowledge and articulation to tell some mad stories

The international hoods are good but linking up with aussies that live in the suburbs your visiting makes it much better cause you hear the stories and understand how bad it actually is. Im sure the lads in those hoods in barca amsterdam and everywhere else would have crazy stories to tell but harder to link up with them and know of their legit

The joy the lads have when they recognise Spanian. Can you imagine the feels these boys get when they are walking along, going about your day, and then you spot him.

I can’t belive this type of stuff exists in Australia
