I often hear people say; I think want a bigger bike, then they find out that you lose nimbleness and have to fight that extra weight in parking lots. You said it best: you love this bike. That says it all. It may be my next bike. It’s a Honda and it looks bad ass.
I got a 2019 aero but I like the handle bars on the phantom better. I got the disk brake on back with ABS. Plenty of power 75-80 mph cruising taken it for 6 hours round-trip and it's very comfortable rides
Thanks for the review man! Just picked up a 2010 Phantom yesterday. It's not amazing in any particular field BUT it seems pretty good at just about everything. Recommend for a starter bike or something to casually ride on. Oh, and that Honda reliability.
Good Post. I just bought one on 06/17/2019. I bought it because too am a big guy (5.9 250 lbs). It looks big but the engine is midsize - perfect for me, a beginner. I also bought it in ABS. I felt I needed all the help I need - as I am a beginner. I love it. It looks big, I love it.
I have the 2005 shadow spirit. Carbureted, chain driven. No problems ever. Won’t win any races but a great sit back and cruise bike. Does highway speeds just fine.
Great review man. I have a 2015 Phantom and I'm happy with it. No issues on the highway what so ever. Had the exhaust replaced a month after I purchased it. Had my dealer install Cobra. Working on a few more modification slowly but surely. Tried to install a daymaker headlight, but unfortunately the bracket for the Honda does not fit the new light. So had to return it. Corbin Seat is my next project.
Great looking bike and a lot of useable details in this video, thanks! The Vance & Hines short shots would look and sound great on this bike in my opinion...
