Did Griffin have his car keys in his pocket? Maybe he lost his keys, forcing him to turn around and search for it, causing him to get lost in the dark

6 year old autistic boy is missing In Alberta near Crowsnest pass. Went on a walk with siblings while camping and went missing at one point during that walk. They returned without him. Day 6 searching today. Very reminiscent of Dennis Martin.

This channel transformed me from a cryptid believer to a true crime story enjoyer

That really sucks about your AI clone. That must be so disorienting to hear your voice and know it’s not your voice. Thank you for your hard work! Man, if I had a nickel

I live near Olympic National Park and volunteer with the local Search and Rescue and have a search dog who goes with me (a husky who can go longer than any person without rest, and is made for the bitter cold). I have seen some crazy stuff in that forest. People who are found miles in the opposite direction of where they were last seen heading, people in places that we couldn't even get to, and people who are found rather quickly but at distances that are inexplicably far given the time it takes to cover that distance. We believe that it's usually because we're getting bad information from the report because people will often search for their friend or family member and they get turned around and don't realize where they actually last saw someone, or they lose track of time saying they looked for an hour and it was actually 4 because they're high on adrenaline. The ones that always get me, though, are when we find people in places that we can't get to without specialized gear or skills which they don't have. I know almost every inch of trail in the park having been going hiking dozens of times every year for 30 years, and I have gotten turned around. It's gorgeous, and if you veer off the trail and follow deer trails or a trial isn't maintained by accident, everything looks the same and is often very dense, very tall trees. If you can find a river or creek, you can follow it with the flow and you'll almost certainly find your way out, but it's best to have an emergency beacon and just stay put. Wandering makes it harder for us to find you.

I live right by the Olympic national Forest and I always tell my daughter (15) do not go walking in the woods at all, ever, for ANY REASON by yourself.

On Griffin - I used to live about half a mile from that trailhead on the Elwah River. We had cougars outside our house at night pretty regularly. if you're chilling on a log at night and a cougar screams nearby, you're scared shitless and running. It would be easy to lose your orientation. Going up could have been an attempt to reorient himself by going above the tree line so he could see landmarks. I spent many many hours in those woods as a scout when I was young. It's deep old growth. The underbrush is dense and full of blackberry bushes with thorns.

James really bothers me. I was acquainted with him thru my old job when I lived in PA. He was a kind man. I'm not sure what could have happened? He knew that place. He was not only ''retired", he was disabled. He went to the hot springs to help with pain. For the life of me I can't imagine him running anywhere or climbing anything :/  Rest in peace. I hope we find out one day what happened.
(there were witnesses who seen him that day, but I didn't see them included here).

I have hiked hundreds of trails solo across the United States. The only time I ever got unnerved and turned around was on the Sol Duc trail trail in Olympic National Park.
Never understood why. I didn't hear or see anything. Just a VERY strong gut feeling that I have never gotten anywhere else. I'm glad I listened to it.

Your AI troll is probably David Paulides

Rule #1- dont leave the trail. #2- if you do, mark your path as you go along so you dont get lost. #3- be prepared for everything. I have made all those mistakes and learned to follow them the hard way.

Stop using the copyright strike angle and go directly to identity theft.

Unlike copyright infringement, identity theft is criminal, and if it’s done via YouTube, the FBI would have jurisdiction. Don’t let them steer you into copyright infringement, always push the identity theft narrative.

41:40 Legal Eagle just went through this too, it's insane that you even have to explain what's happening instead of YT's investigation team actually doing their jobs.

Idea.    Swamp dweller also had this issue with AI stealing his voice.     He stated on a video that he had to fill out a form with Google.    And Google was able to take care of the impersonation.

In the second case, I think there is a reason for James Griffin to walk up to higher elevation. If he got lost in the dark, he could have thought that by going up he would reach some place with good visibility into distance, and head in the direction of any lights he would see.

37:47 "It's the wrong time of the year for the sasquatch migration" is one of those sentences that I feel would make absolutely zero sense on any channel other than Lore Lodge, but hearing it here I'm like "ah yes, if course, that's why we have to rule out bigfoot"

Proud to be a member of the Lodge. Sorry to hear about your numerous YouTube struggles. You’ve proven to me at least that you put in more work than a lot of even bigger channels around here and you deserve many times the views you currently get. It’s been incredible to see you grow like you have.

Sasquatch Migration Patterns is a great band name

Worked with an old guy who previously worked at Blallam Bay Prison. He said back in the day they had an inmate escape for a couple of days, and the inmate returned himself to the front gate. The inmate was bleeding, had broken bones, and hypothermia. Stated something that wasn't an animal attacked him in the forest. The old dude wasn't a liar. Never found any articles about it, though. The deep Olympic forrest has Appalachia vibes.
